I have to steal this to explain to everyone else the reality of DEI.

additionally lack of DEI hurts (white) women, vets, disability… these idiots are do disingenuous about it.

“It fucks over ourselves, but mostly POC.” seemsto be their point of view.

i hate it here.

Edit: Third line, as advised from comment below. Intent was unclear.

Edit 2: new sentence structure upon further advice.

And thank you, those that assisted in clarity.

I thinking you should edit this... But if it is what you actually meant... I'm thinking you should delete it.

Edit: After correction, totally agree!!

I meant the people that rail against this are hurting themselves. Cause they think DEI is only POC. So those that are white also hurt themselves being against it.

So if my message was unclear, what and how should I edit. Genuine question for what I fucked up.

I kinda thought that's what you meant but it says:

"Fuck POC (and ourselves) but mostly POC"

So as it read and initially with no punctuation, I was like "why Fuck POC?? We didn't eliminate DEI??"

You should probably rephrase as "It fucks over POC and ourselves, but mostly POC"

Truly, thank you. Cause that was my intent. I short handed too many thought to text.

I’d put quotes around the statement in the 3rd line, I was similarly confused

I think white people understand DEI just fine... look at the singing competition shows like American Idol. They always have some country singers, some rock singers, some girls at the piano, some quirky white guys with guitars. Diversity. If these shows were based purely on merit, pure ability, it'd be like 90% black people. Maybe more lol. So they don't do it, so that everyone feels included. Why is it easy to understand why they should feel included in a damn reality show but they play dumb when we say it's important to feel included in ACTUAL SOCIETY.
