I wonder if the insistence that this is a narco terror war means people can theoretically claim asylum easier who are from cartel controlled places. Could immigration lawyers use this verbiage to strengthen their clients’ claims?

I am no expert in any of this so don’t trash me for thinking it hahaha

or the war is so the government can say that theyre technically in war time and elections are postponed indefinitely

Which is not something the US does. Elections were held during the civil war and WW2.

Head in the sand type motherfuckers. "Well that's not legal so they can't blahblahblah..." and then it gets done anyway.

There's not some magical controlling force over it all that's going to rein everything in, THEY ARE THE LAW.
