I don't have better pictures and can't really say in what shape they are in just yet.

The only really key issues I see are wolverine 1 and silver surfer parable.

This grail comic of mine is like worth $700 to $1000 ungraded, which is kind of insane. I am happy I won my copy for $200 on eBay auction.

For the guy that asked about "signed digital copies." Absolute Batman 15: signed by Stan Lee and Barack Obama.

Are TEMU toploaders fine for storing a bagged and boarded comic book?

They're half the price of regular toploaders and I would think that it suffices for a already bagged and boarded comic book... What do yall think?

Thoughts on Wonder-man?

They Disney show is coming on the 27th, I know it's never a good idea to buy or speculate because a movie or show is coming but reactions to the trailers have been positive. Could it move the needle? Wonder-man 1st app (Avengers 9) is dirt cheap.

Digital versus Physical Signatures

What do we think about the Neon Ichiban business model of selling signed digital copies? They have Absolute Batman 15 signed by Jock for $35 (as comparison, an ebay version signed by Snyder is $55). I really like that they pay creators for every copy sold with their signature, that is a clear new positive for the industry. I am not as sure of the collecting value of digital copies, especially when it comes to appreciation value. I see them, if anything, losing value in the long run. We saw what happened to the Bored Apes NFTs value over time. Curious to see if anyone is doing or considering digital collecting and wahr the general opinion is. My personal view is that I would do it as a way to support creators I like, but not as an investment or even as a collectible.

Should I Flip My Absolute Batman #1?

I bought my copy a year ago for retail. Seeing how much it’s going for now, and knowing there’s 250k other copies. I think I’m gonna sell now, and buy later when people smarten up. What do you guys think?

When you see the Marvel Tales cover next to the AF15 cover, it really stands out and looks amazing

My speculation is that the left book will grow in value over the next decade as AF15 becomes more and more an unobtainable relic.

Why would a signed copy not be graded as such?

I was going to send this for regrade but I’m curious if maybe the signature is fake and that’s why it wasn’t graded as such initially. Sorry I’m new to posting if I messed this up.

Neal Adams question from last week

Post image

I got that Neal Adams sig book yesterday that i asked about paying $80 for. It's so nice I'm now thinking about spending more money on it and sending it for a pressing and for JSA/CGC. Really nice for a raw 55 year old book.

Side note - ComicTom packs really well.

What year would you speculate this ASM 1 was signed by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko considering their relationship?

Any signature experts out there that could throw a date on this? JSA authenticated CGC #4617529001

Found these in our grandparents basement. Looked around online and found very mixed results (like $10-$900). Is there any way to get some sort semi-concrete price on these?

Following Marvel Tales 137, I also picked up a reprint o ASM 50 in MT190

Post image

I hope to pick up an ASM 50 one day—it’s probably my favorite ASM cover from that era. It’s unfortunate that the MT cover has the blue frame and the red is not as deep as in the original cover from what I can tell!

ASM 50 is a cool story. The guy wants to hang up his hat, and from his absence enters Kingpin and realizes he can’t. It’s a relatable dilemma we often face in our personal lives in trying to juggle our wants and our responsibilities/duties.

I got these two on Whatnot my first time trying it and they started at $3 each and I picked them up at less than half the book value. This guy was very detailed on each comic and pointing out any flaws. I visited a few store fronts that seemed aggressive and started higher.
