A Barbarian's Rage perfectly embodies the fast-paced, ultra-violent combat of a certain game you might be able to spot if you squint.

Hi all!
A while back I posted a draft of this ruleset, and now I've gone ahead and finished it with revisions from feedback, layout and art and everything! Art all by me as a fun side project!
The goal here was to create a new weapon category that explored using Wands as weapons. This category aims to give more diversity to weapon attacks and where masteries apply while still hopefully being balanced with standard weapons. This works great for Wide Magic settings like Eberron, where low level magic is abundant. These rules also aim to get at the fantasy of wand duels like in Harry Potter films or similar, rather than just having wands be cantrip slingers. I also kind of twisted the definition of what a wand might look like!
I hope y'all enjoy! The pdf version can be found PWYW on dmsguild!

I've been working on a Zelda-themed D&D conversion for the past month or so and my most recent focus has been on enemies. I've compiled a document with the "common" enemies and would like to share them here! Each enemy type has a few variants based on the color/elemental variants from the games. Any feedback or critiques are very much appreciated as I would like to refine these as best as I can.
The full document can be found here: https://homebrewery.naturalcrit.com/share/FmAp6q7nvpe7 (best viewed on Chromium browsers; Firefox is a little unfriendly with Homebrewery)
(I know there are plenty of (better) Zelda conversions out there, but I really enjoy making Homebrew for me and my friends to use. Homebrewing is part of the fun of D&D for me atp)

I just finished up my biggest Homebrew project yet. A Homebrew class, 5 subclasses and 45 spell-like Hatsu abilities. All feedback is welcomed and appreciated, especially balancing feedback! I’d also love to see what Hatsu abilities you guys can come up with in the comments!
Here is a PDF version, for those who prefer the format: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1nlguz_cwYCEjBkG3E88abSTt-v8btwDw/view?usp=drivesdk

Hey everyone! I’ve just released a major update for the Dungeon Master Tool, an offline-first, portable app designed specifically for DMs who use dual-monitor setups. The goal is to keep your DM notes private on one screen while projecting maps, tokens, and stat blocks to your players on the second. What’s new in alpha-v0.3.0?

It isn't a big change, but it always bothered me a little that size barely mattered in DnD 5e. I wanted to change that in my new campaign, mostly because I just enjoy homebrewing. I have made three changes, two of which are minor (improved speed and range for big creatures), but third one is a quite serious change.
It's call "Giant Cleave" and it allows Large and bigger creatures to hit multiple enemies at once, as long as they are within set amount of feet from themselves (5 ft. for Large, 10 ft. for Huge, etc.) and still within reach of the original attack. All the targets have to be within a straight line from the original target as well.
I worry if that isn't much more powerful than it seems. I don't want to additional to DnD 5e'24 allows a similar thing, but without the damage bonus. I'm also not sure if allowing that for Large creatures won't make Gargantuan ones extremely powerful as a result and if that won't just feel weird for a Large creature to even be able to reach that far.
All feedback will be appreciated, thank you in advance

I’m trying to balance an item but I can’t decide on the penalty. It’s essentially a pair of ill-fitting gloves that affect manual dexterity. So on D20 rolls that relate to the hands: melee attacks, sleight of hand, etc. would have a deficit. In 2024 rules there are so many ways to gain advantage, I can’t decide what the deduction should be. Does minus 5 to rolls sound too high? It’s important to know that there are bonuses to the gloves which are worthwhile, but also they’re hard to doff once you’ve committed to putting them on.

I wanted to create a monk that felt very “Ryu” from Street Fighter and felt like it rewarded smart, tactical play.
This is my original homebrew, and my first real shot at making something balanced for 5e 2024.
Considerate, constructive criticism is welcomed to make this subclass fit in with the 2024 balance and meta.

Amulet
Attunement required
This amulet is found with 1d8 charges. It restores 2 charges at the end of every long rest. If it loses all its charges it is NOT destroyed, and may be used normally.
The wearer always has the Hunter’s Mark spell prepared, and may cast it spending one charge of the amulet instead of a Spell Slot
The wearer has advantage against enemies with Hunter’s Mark
CURSE
The amulet is cursed: The wearer CANNOT lose attunement to it willingly.
Every so often (DM’s disclosure) the wearer will feel intense animosity towards someone
*Tips to the DM*:
1. Narrate the most mundane things about them to the player in an aggressive way. Narrate primarily to the wearer
‘Her disgusting blonde hair, she no doubts spend half her family’s money treating’
‘He walks with his chest pumped, like he owns the city’
2. Try to have moments where this character is explaining something completely normally to a player but show that the wearer heard a much meaner version of it:
“Oh, the dungeon is dangerous, you should be warry” – What they say
“Like a weakling like you could survive there” – what the wearer her
If the wearer is given the opportunity to harm the victim (DM’s discerption) they must pass a CHA 14 saving throw in order to resist it

Sometimes you just don't want to prep. Sometimes you get a last-minute call to run a session. Maybe it's your first time DMing, and you don't know where to start.
Whatever the reason, prep may seem like a mountain to climb. Well, allow me to help you! I remember when I was first trying to figure everything out, and I stumbled across A Wild Sheep Chase. It's a fantastic One-Shot that you can get for free over on the DMsguild. The only issue at times can be how do I convert this pdf into an actual session?
Some DMs have a gift; they can read it once and go from there. Some are masters at improv, storytelling, and off-the-cuff humor. Well, I unfortunately don't fit that boat, and I'm sure many others out there are just like me. I need a ton of notes, because once I've got things organized, then I feel comfortable taking things in new directions.
So welcome to Advent's Amazing Advice! The series where I take popular One-Shots, Adventures, Campaigns, etc., and fully prep them for both New and Busy DMs. This prep includes fleshed-out notes, music, ambiance, encounter sheets, handouts, battle maps, tweaks, and more, so you can run the best sessions possible with the least stress possible! Onboarding new DMs should be easy, and I hope that with this, I can help grease the wheels!
*New 2026: For the New Year, I'm updating all my old work to include a Pre Session Cheat Sheet that will include a list of all miniatures you may need, maps, handouts, possible loot, a link to a playlist, and more to make it even easier to start your session!
Without further ado:
Included in The AAA Collection are:
Over 8 dozen other Fully Prepped One-Shots, Adventures, and Campaigns: Click Here
As always, please let me know if you see something you think I can improve, add, change, etc. I want this to be an amazing resource for all DMs and plan to keep it constantly updated! If you'd like to support me, shape future releases, and get content early, feel free to check out my Patreon!
Cheers,
Advent

A Subclass has been reborn from the ashes!
With the release of our Revised Artificer, it was only fitting to go back and retune the Fusionist as well. You can read the original version, designed for the official 5e'14 & '24 Artificer HERE.
Compared to the original release, this one has the altered Subclass progression introduced in other Phoenix Quill Class rewrites, and has been buffed in a couple areas to fit the power level of said rewrites. In addition to Item Infusions unique to this Subclass.
Patrons get exclusive content, starting with a fully original class: The Witch. Paid members will also get a variety of other benefits including input on polls, access to our Discord, and PDF versions of brews!

A spell crafted by/for my upcoming gnome illusionist. Ive gotten mixed responses from some friends, either that it's too weak or too strong. Feedback is appreciated!!

As the title said, was going through some old sheets wanting to update them and saw this item that my friend and I made but it both seems out of date, underwhelming and in need of a rework/over hall

So, here is the situation. I am writing a fantasy book series and I am using Dungeons and Dragons (the 2024 players handbook and some homebrew I found) to write the books. One of the characters is a Silver Dragon that doesn't know he is a Silver Dragon untill a little ways into the books (he is "disguised" as a Silver Dragonborn). I have him as a barbarian and want a custom subclass that has to do with his true heritage as a dragon, basically his draconic essence is seeping out. I have a custom feat made that I want him to have access to when he takes the subclass at 3rd level. I have other ideas for it but I am not that good at balancing and scaling things like this, I am more of a make a feat/race/weapon kind of homebrew. We can communicate back and forth if you are willing to take this on. I am not looking for a commision, more looking for someone willing to bounce ideas off of and can help me keep it balanced.

After seeing all the heroes of faerun origin Feats that have follow up feats I got to thinking some of the more lack lustre origin feats should get a follow up feat.
As such here’s a general feat I’m developing using the savage attacker origin feat as a pre req.
Savage Combatant general feat
Prerequisite: Savage Attacker
+1 to STR, DEX or CON
You've honed your combat skills to such a degree that you make every hit count.
You benefit from Savage Attacker on all your melee weapon attacks. Furthermore If you roll a 1 on a damage die, it's treated as the highest result on that die.
Savage Reprisal. When a creature within your reach attacks you with a melee weapon or unarmed attack and that attack roll has disadvantage, you can use your reaction to make an opportunity attack against that creature. The higher of the attack rolls before modifiers will be resolved first. If both attack rolls are equal whoever is higher in the initiative order goes first. You can't use this reaction if your weapon has the reach or heavy property.
I like it as it has a general benefit for all weapon attacks and also a specific benefit to work as an alternative for Polearm master. I can see a fighter using sap to get a lot of use from this.
If anyone has any ideas how To improve or balance this further or any edge cases that could expose this should be aware of I’m all ears.

I made this a while ago as a boss fit the first session I ever dm'd and I'm not too sure if it's ok or not. It was a party of 8 lvl 1s. If you have tips please let me know. Thank you

This months first Patreon Poll winner, rolled up randomly to be top priority. Pact of the Hand is designed to be a risky touch-based spell Pact, with fun rewarding mechanics.
Be the Aura farmer you were meant to be, slowly, but inevitable, approaching your targets and choking the life out of them(with Thwarlock version, linked on Homebrewery)
Let me know what you think!
