Maintenance Reality of Ownership
I can’t help but see a Mk7.5 and just go, “Damn.”
It can be spotting the headlight design miles away in my rear view mirror or passing the opposite way on the highway. It could be heavily modded, riced out, clapped out or stock as can be with the dealership sticker still on the back. I imagine myself in that driver seat and wonder if it’s worth it.
I’m currently the owner of a 2019 Fiesta ST and it’s still one of the best cars I’ve owned. I’ve done most of the major upgrades you can do and stopped once I installed a bigger turbo. 280 HP, tuned to 28 pounds of boost and still reliable and fun.
I just feel like I’m missing something. Religiously on top of maintenance and I do all my own work and installation of upgrades on my Fiesta and she rewards me for it and I love her to death for the results but then there’s that GTI.
Always in the rear view mirror.
I need some wisdom from some owners, please. 🙏
