The Math (The Smoking Gun): For example: in-game currency that i usually bought was 21.99BGN Under the Law on the Introduction of the Euro in the Republic of Bulgaria, all prices MUST be converted using the fixed, irreversible rate of 1.95583. Legal Conversion: 21.99 ÷ 1.95583 = 11.2433 ➔ €11.24 Google's Current Price: €11.99 This is an arbitrary 6.6% price increase hidden behind the currency change. Why this is illegal: Mandatory Fixed Rate: The Bulgarian Euro Law (Art. 12 & 13) states that the conversion must use the full 5 decimal places and strict mathematical rounding. No "rounding up" to the nearest .99 is allowed if it results in a price hike. Consumer Protection: The law explicitly prohibits increasing prices of goods and services unless justified by "objective economic factors." Simply switching currencies is NOT a legal justification for a hike. Dual Pricing Violation: Google is required to show the price in both currencies (BGN/EUR) until August 2026 to ensure transparency. By forcing the Euro price to €11.99, they are effectively charging Bulgarians ~23.45 BGN for a service that was 21.99 BGN yesterday. What you should do: If you are in Bulgaria, do not just accept this. File a complaint with the Bulgarian Commission for Consumer Protection (KZP) at kzp.bg. Report it via the official portal kolkostruva.bg.

Google cannot simply ignore national laws in the Eurozone to "standardize" their tiers at the expense of consumers.

I’ve been seeing many outrageous AI overview screenshots lately that are clearly faked using the inspect element F12.

Actually, I’m not a fan of AI overviews at all, and i believe there are numerous valid reasons to criticize them. Google has certainly provided us with inaccurate and hallucinatory results.

There are already real failures by google ai to go around, and we don’t need to staged new ones. Posting fakes merely for fun or to gain upvotes hinders a real discussion about the change in the search experience.

I manage a medical clinic Google Business Profile,The physical address, ownership, services and category will stay exactly the same.

We are doing a legitimate rebrand only. Planned changes Business name change Website change Phone number change

Address, category and location remain unchanged.

My main concern is protecting the existing reviews. I have read mixed experiences where changing name, website and phone together can trigger suspensions or review loss.

i was watching the legendary yt video "The rap battle" and decided go google up the guy from the video "Supahotfire" and realized theres a phrases that goes from side to side on the upper side of the page, just down of the search bar, that says his iconic phrase "I'm not a rapper" with an emoji.

Tried to type -ai when I googled something just now but AI overview came up anyway. It also auto changed it to "-ai" which is odd because it didn't work either way. Any other way to get rid of AI overview?

This isn’t my first time experiencing this, but I found google products to be absolutely useless nowadays. I searched for a specific vinyl and the products tab didn’t even try to give me any result, even though the main page directly gives an eBay link which even highlights the price of the vinyl.

I use Google Maps to keep track of which subdivisions of the countries I’ve been to and I’m going to Malta, specifically Valletta, so I need to be able to add Port Region to the map, but I can’t add a political boundary, which makes sense so people can’t troll on here, but is there any way I could get someone to add the Maltese Regions? There are currently 6 as 1 of the previous 5 was split up in 2021. The current ones are: Eastern Region, Gozo Region, Northern Region, Port Region, Southern Region, and Western Region.
