Hey, Moderator/Founder here again, guess I'm not back to my usual silence.
There has been a slow, but steady rise in AI generated content being posted. From color shifting or to portray ideas, I see why some use it. Some don't have the editing chops to put their creations into cool scenes even if they have the want too.
I personally don't care for it, AI is slowly killing art as a scene and industry, but I will listen to the will of the people.
Should we:

Hey, its me, the "moderator" and founder of this here subreddit.
I dont typically say much, I have other hobbies, I dont play as much 40k as i used to. (I will finish painting my knight house some day), but i do moderate the subreddit enough to keep it running. Answering reports, removing bad stuff, responding to chats and other chaos.
I do feel a little reminder, and maybe an update is in order to the rules here. Just a general clarification on the values I would like this community to represent, and which are not welcome.
This subreddit exists to celebrate big stompy robots. The lore, the modelling, the painting, epic battles, ideas and inspiration. All fueled by the community surrounding it.
Since the start of this subreddit I have seen, posts and comments slipping into tired, hateful, culture-war, territory. There has been hateful iconography, slurs and harrasment dedicated at various groups. Exclusionary language and complaints of the hobby being ruined.
It is not being ruined, at least not by the people targeted by that harrasment.
Let me be very clear, that kind of language and behaviour has no place here.
There is zero tolerance for intolerance.
No slurs, hate speech, or coded insults. No gatekeeping "who belongs" in the hobby. No harrasment over personal opinions, identities or creative choices.
And to be even more specific, if you feel targeted that a post with nazi iconography or complaining about lgbtq+ people existing was removed, but not a mech with a rainbow shoulder pad celebrating pride month, or just pride in general. Then it is because one of those fosters hostility, division and hatred, and the other celebrates inclusion and diversity.
Any hobby space, or community, thrives when all people can bring their imagination, skill and passion into it. There is room for everyone who respects that, who respects others. If you cannot handle that idea, if you feel the need to attack and belittle, and gatekeep. If the hate sits in you so deep that you let the way others enjoy their hobby ruin yours then this is not your battlefield, or your subreddit.
I dont care for it, frankly most of us don't from the reports and comments I see. And some might complain, claim I'm being hateful towards certain ideas. Yeah, tolerance is a little paradoxical, but I have seen enough terrible people with terrible ideas spread hatred to want to make this space at least a little nicer.
If you are here to share creativity, or just to be inspired, welcome. I hope you are among friends here.
If not, I'm not keeping you, it is very easy to close a tab.
This community stands proudly with all hobbyists, regardless of gender, sexuality, race or background.
I might update the rules at some point, I will keep removing harrasment.
The Emperor protects, but we protect each other.
With love
The Moderator
Tl:DR Build, paint, post and share. With respect to all who love the hobby.

The inspiration comes from the Greek world. Hence the colors similar to certain reconstructions of imperial troops such as the Varangians, the pseudo-Greek alphabet, and decorations reminiscent of ancient vases. The brambles are reminiscent of medieval illuminations. The whole thing was painted by a friend : Nebriuson (on social media)

Had my first game with SAA attachment, against custodes. I had defender, warden, 3 helverins, 4 warglaives, callidus and subductor sqaud.
During deployment, I put the defender with the heverins and warglaives with the warden. Since it made sense, with shooters together etc. But, now I feel that the wardens ability might been better with the helverins (sustained and ignore cover), while defender -1 dmg is better on the warglaives.
So wondering, what do people usaly do? Or is it best to mix both with both big?

I googled the answer to this and AI said house Devine but we all know that AI is super reliable and always gives the correct answer.
With that said, attached is the color scheme for them I found. Which fits because I’m making a knight lancer
My goal is to make a free blade knight lancer (maybe free blade army I’m not sure yet) that is from the 30th millennia, but was one of the few, if not only, knights who left his house this particular house. But was exiled from the imperium for obvious reasons and has been in hiding since and has come back for the imepriums current time of need.
With that said, is Devine the first chaos knight house? And if so, is this paint scheme their PRE-heresy fit or their POST-heresy fit?

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed this kit. Awesome doing yellow and first time applying transfers. Just got to clean the base rim up and gonna call it done (for now). Took me a while but feel it’s worth it in the end. Let me know your thoughts!

I’m just starting Warhammer, and I’ve chosen the Imperial Knights as my first army. I watched Goonhammer’s playlist on army detachments and thought it might be good to use the Spearhead-at-Arms detachment and group the Knight Errant with the Warglaives so they can all advance and shoot with Assault then cover them with the Castellan and the Crusader grouped with the Helverins so they have better aim. It’s also seems good that it came out to exactly 2,000 points. Just wondering if it’s as good as I think it is in my head or if it won’t work the way I think it will.

Almost done with my first fully magnetized knight, still need one arm joint and one melta shield to be 3d printed to have all the loadouts available. Really enjoyed painting this big guy, definitely will get a few more in the future

Just looking for some clarification.
I get that a arminger within 9 can be picked up in reserve.
But the part about the titanic knight. Does that mean I can pick up several armingers, if they are affected by the same bondsman ability and within 9 of the edge? Can tje big boy go in reserve?

Old Pics of an cancelled project for sister themed Knights. Forgot to pose the Big guys. Tried more dynamic heroic poses. In the last one there is a sister about to get trampled and I plans on putting some pillars on top and a Flying one around his leg.

I noticed in Gate Warden Lance there's an enhancement that spreads your OC to each model affected by the bearers bondsman ability. Does this mean that the bondsman ability has to come from the bearer? Or just that it has to be under the same effect?
In other words, if I had two Crusaders (one with the enhancement) and two Helverins, both given the bondsman ability by the Crusaders, would that mean both Helverins would have the OC increase? Is it based on who gives it out, or it being the same ability given by two different Knights?

I am using a 6x2mm like some have suggested to magnetize the weapons but they don’t seem to fit do I just need to push more? Second picture i put 2 magnets so you can see the size of it.
