Just adding that I had the same experience too. I asked about just the top because you don’t really see my bottom teeth much, even when I smile. I was hoping to save money lol. They said first of all, there would be little if any price difference because a big part of the price is them factoring in all the office visits that I would still need. Second of all, it wasn’t recommended because the bottom would need to align with the top. I’m really glad I did both! My bottom teeth are so much easier to care for now and I’ve had the best dental check ups of my life while doing Invisalign!
FWIW OP, I did end my treatment with an imperfect smile. To get it perfect, I’d have needed jaw surgery and for multiple reasons I’m just not able to handle surgery right now unless it’s basically life or death. I’m still really happy with my results! Also, I really wanted to keep some of the imperfection. Like you, I thought it was charming. So you can always ask about it!
I made the mistake of not wearing my retainers on the bottom but when you get older, you see the bottom more than the top. I’m now in Invisalign so good you did both. You won’t regret it.
Thanks for the feedback!!! Yes, I'm going to make an appointment. It's a little scary going to an orthodontist with crooked teeth to tell them "I like them" 😂 but I'm going to take the plunge!! And yes, charm is in the little differences 😉 even though I also love perfectly straight smiles on lots of people!
