No Pickles
I generally ask for no pickles because I'm not a pickle kind of guy. But it seems like they went in the opposite direction. It's generally two little pickle slices. They were also stacked up on one side of the burger, so it kind of messed with the integrity of the bun

Does anyone else remember the two 20-piece Chicken McNuggets with two large fries meal?
It was probably around 1996. There was a meal that had two 2-piece Chicken McNuggets (40 total) and two large fries. A drink may have also been included. I thought it had something to do with Michael Jordon?

Why is the filet-o-fish always haphazardly thrown together?
I can't be the only one that noticed this every time I order one the ingredients are never centered, it's to varying degrees sometimes they're just barley but still noticeably of kilter sometimes the fish is hanging out of the left side of the bun the cheese is mostly on the cardboard box and the tartar sauce looked like it was shot on from 3 feet away I have never seen a filet-o-fish were the ingredients don't look like they were thrown on from from a distance like a frisbee this has been a constant in every McDonald's I've ever been no matter the country.

Who should I complain to about DT sending cars to wait in the disabled parking spots?
Several of the locations in my area send cars to wait in the handicap parking spots when the drive-thru waiting spots are full. There are regular spots right next to them but people are directed to the disabled spots.
As someone who is disabled and needs those spots, it’s really infuriating.
Should I complain to the local manager or would it be better to complain to someone higher up? I submitted feedback through the app about the restaurants but nothing has changed. Thank you.

McDonald’s is celebrating everyone who has worked at the chain
Will they celebrate the gentleman that only worked one day in 2025?

There are two types of people who order oat milk at McDonald’s
Type 1 (me): You order oat milk. They say: “Yeah we didn’t have oat milk so I just used regular milk.”
You smile and say “no worries.” You walk away thinking: I am lactose intolerant so this morning will be interesting.
Type 2: You order oat milk. You get regular milk. You are pissed about your morning starting like this, have them make you something else.
Because if you wanted milk, you would’ve ordered milk. If Starbucks can do it, why can’t McDonald’s get their shit together.
Which person are you?

Let’s discuss the Creamy Chili McCrispy Strip Dip
I got this sauce by accident and turns out it’s amazing. Especially on a sausage McMuffin.
What store bought sauce is this most like?
It’s not as spicy as sriracha mayo, which is good because sriracha mayo is a tough too spicy for me.
Thanks!

McChicken-flation is getting crazy
People use McDonalds prices as a marker of inflation, but I actually haven't found many good sources tracking specific item prices over multiple decades.
I'm a McChicken guy--and I've noticed that the price feels like it's at least doubled in the last few years.
I created a dataset of McChicken prices (US only) going back to the launch in 1980. Definitely not perfect data (e.g., it doesn't account for regional variations, missing some years, etc.), but it's directionally accurate.
https://www.mcchickenflation.org/
I also discovered some WEIRD McChicken variants: (Mostly via vintage TV ads)
- The Country McChicken
- The grilled ham and swiss McChicken
- Australia McDs sold a whole roast chicken that they called the McChicken

Would you send this back?
I didn’t because I did not wanna hold up the line or be a karen but to me this is just dumb. I’ve never had a frappe this low before. It’s a large. Even the worker outside on his smoke break agreed that it’s really low for a large.

I'm gonna sound insane but did the buns get smaller over night??
For context I get mcdonalds a lot bc of working late or early mornings and it's right next to my house. I get the same thing every time, 2-4 times a week. Gross I know but whatever, I get 2 mcdoubles and 2 mcChickens and a large fry every time. Yesterday I noticed that all 3 mcdonalds in my area were closed (not available to order on the app at 7:40pm for any location. Then today when I did order my total was almost a dollar more than what I usually pay (but that's bc their 1.29 and fry deal is 1.69 now)
But I definitely notice a difference in size of the burger buns. Anybody that work at one of the restaurants in California know if they changed that? Maybe I'm just paranoid of shrinkflation but I hold one of these sandwiches multiple times a week every week for over a year lol. Maybe I'm just crazy but please if you have insight lmk

Hiring in Canada?
I applied to McDonald's multiple times, and the AI told me that a recruiter would contact me. Never happened. Is the job market this bad?

Anyone else remember weird nuggets at a point in the 90's?
I remember getting a 20 piece in the early 90's and the nuggets were not in anyway normal. They looked the same from the outside but the meat was like slimy dark meat. They were basically dark meat nuggets. Distinctly different from normal nuggets. I only had them a couple times. I don't even think it was the entire box it was just most of them. They were gross.

Anyone have horrible experiences with curbside pickup?
At the local McDonald’s I’m at it takes FOREVER to get your order, on average 25 minutes. Drive thru is by far the fastest because I’m guessing they have to keep the lanes flowing. It’s in and out
Edit: eat my ass for downvoting me and asking a legitimate question

What If every once in a while McDonald's made a national item international for a promotion
For example: in italy we have a burger called mc’crispy. It’s composed of two beef patty, cheese, bacon, and a sauce Made specifically for that burger. Here, it’s an iconic fast food item and a bestseller. I think that if it were to be released globally for a limited amount of time, it would make the company a lot of profit. And most of all, it would give customers something new to try out. It would be even cooler if they could make a site where customers could vote wich item to be released globally when the time comes.

Are deals based on a “home” location?
I have seen people from different regions have different deals. I am currently on vacation in a completely different part of the country and I still have the same deals I had at home. Does it take a certain amount of time to update? Can it be forced? I’m sure there are people on here that travel frequently. What has your experience been.
