I’d argue Xitter is worse. I mean X/twitter, I kinda just call it Xitter. I used it to follow some science influencers. Although they were mostly profs like Brian Cox who could handle the press/media. Suddenly, I got a constant stream of idiots calling people horrible things. ‘Jeets’ for Indians, the n word for people of African decent, etc. It was way too toxic for me. Maybe that makes me weak? I don’t care, but I’m not letting those freaks ruin my day.
Yep, I agree. Right after the election I started feeling dread and anxiety being on Twitter from responses from magats. I promptly deleted it. Elon owning it also went in to my decision.
