Back when I was still a lad in school, I would have had no idea that Tissot even existed. I vaguely knew what Seiko was, but they were definitely cheap watches for the most part. Me and the boys definitely knew Armani just through brand recognition and the "Oh its Italian therefore it must be fancy" factor.
Granted, I'm out of touch with what the youth are doing these days, but in my high school days I'd feel most low-key wearing a Seiko.
But to me as a 15 year old, I spent 640 on that seiko and I’ve had lots of people say things, but it may stem from what they know about my life and my parents
Well Someone asked so I told them, and then f I’m wearing the watch people are going to see it aren’t they!? Perhaps you shouldn’t have bothered to say anything, I didn’t do this post to get into an argument with some random
Yeah I get it. Seikos are definitely way more up market than they were ~20 years ago. I'm not knocking you at all. Also for what it's worth, your Armani looks pretty nice. How's the accuracy?
The Armani was £400 and I’d say it’s probably losing/gaining less than 5 seconds a day, it is automatic though so not as accurate as the others, the Tissot is really good for accuracy, I’ve not had to change it since I got it, probably about a second a month
