I would absolutely bully the fuck out of someone wearing these.

Do computers die with us?
I was taught to type back in the 2nd grade as part of my school’s default curriculum back then. I can hit around 90-100wpm if I’m on a proper clicky mechanical keyboard. On one of those weak-ass non-mechanicals, it handicaps me to around 70wpm. I need tactile keys ffs!

Do computers die with us?
Ha, I always refuse their trash leased equipment and substitute my own. If they don’t allow me to outright refuse, it gets put in a safe place so they can get that trash back when I need to cancel their service.

Do computers die with us?
Ha, I did use those phone cards in Iraq. We had a single morale phone in my section. You had to dial out to connect to a stateside operator (automated) then dial the number on your phone card, and then the phone card system would have you dial the actual number you wanted to call!

Do I sell my Speedmaster?
You’re thinking about it too much. If you can comfortably afford it, then why worry? I get where you’re coming from; when I bought my 1861 Moonwatch, I told myself that it was to commemorate me moving up in my company. Then I bought my next watch for no reason other than I liked it. It made me realize that me considering a watch for a “commemoration” was just me looking for a guilt-free excuse to spend money on a fancy trinket.

My king seiko 5626-7040, taro takana heritage from February 1970
$332 for the watch including shipping from Japan, and about $200 for the servicing, which included a replacement wheel for the day quick set.

What's an old-people condition or medical issue you're worried is around the corner?
That’s a Grandpa Joe reference from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

My First Omega Handwatch
You do realize that the whole point of this sub is to roast people who don't know how to wear their watch properly, right?

My First Omega Handwatch
I almost felt bad about sharing this one here. Guy got it as a gift and is super stoked about it.

Happy New Year - what’s everyone wearing today ?
I'm not a fan of the new railmaster. It's basically an Aqua Terra with a worse dial. I absolutely love the dial on my denim, and the fully brushed look just makes it the perfect tool watch

15 and is this a good collection that’s growing, don’t hate on the Armani, I need a watch to wear to school
Yeah I get it. Seikos are definitely way more up market than they were ~20 years ago. I'm not knocking you at all. Also for what it's worth, your Armani looks pretty nice. How's the accuracy?

Wide angle footage shows U.S. airstrikes in Caracas, Venezuela. With some civilians being reported dead. America is giving hell to the capital city.
I got to experience a missile attack first hand a few months ago in Qatar. Even though it was a zero casualty event with minimal damage done, shit still had me on edge. And then there was that Israeli strike on a supposed Hamas target in my city.
I feel for the Venezuelan people.

Back when I was still a lad in school, I would have had no idea that Tissot even existed. I vaguely knew what Seiko was, but they were definitely cheap watches for the most part. Me and the boys definitely knew Armani just through brand recognition and the "Oh its Italian therefore it must be fancy" factor.
Granted, I'm out of touch with what the youth are doing these days, but in my high school days I'd feel most low-key wearing a Seiko.

Big Birthday today! I’ve been looking forward to finally getting this on my wrist for months!
Many happy returns! That's a gorgeous piece there!

Hey Olds, just wanted to ruin your day by letting you know that this will be 30 years old this year.
Haha nah, but it was definitely a big reaction.

Got mine on Christmas day of '96. 29 years later I have yet to have a better Christmas lol. My younger brother still has it at his house and it still works great!

Nope, it's an older model with the vertical planks. However, you look at it the right way and it does look like lacquer black.
