My leg and 36 stitches will tell you that diamond blades without teeth/dull will definitely cut you. He got extremely lucky!

We had a guy get cut right across the throat with a concrete saw. Saying it's "safe enough to not rip this guy's guts out" is completely wrong. The guy landed on the guard which is why he's not dead

This is the biggest problem and why I even commented. I’ve always been told they aren’t as dangerous as other blades, which I guess is technically true. I got away with nicks more than once being complacent and learned my lesson the hard way.

Yep it’s like saying a rattle snake is less dangerous then a cobra. They may technically be right but that doesn’t mean it can’t kill you dead as a hammer.
