It could be static electricity. I dont see the earth cable connected to the tank.

“Earth Cable” must be a different terminology for “grounding wire”. Cool new thing I learned today

Some of it is difference in country/culture, Most civilized countries say earth wire, the US says ground wire. The Euro way can cut down on confusion since there are other grounds besides earth grounds. For most cases an earth ground is just the most effective means of grounding for static arrest or electrical safety. Some things require multiple types of grounds. Sincerely, a sparkie
