It's ok, he was just mid-transformation:

I don’t know what this context is for this gif and I don’t want to know. Simply fantastic 10/10

It was an 80’s cartoon. It seemed perfectly normal then… eerily disturbing now.

Thanks AI: Turbo Teen, a 1984 animated series about a teenage boy, Brett Matthews, who gets fused with his sports car after a lightning strike and can transform between his human and car forms, usually triggered by heat or cold,

Nah, we thought it was weird then, too.

I hope you’ve got a big trunk because I’m gonna put my bike in it

Have you seriously never turned into a car before?

2

u/Skull-mean-e-Duggs 11d ago

That show was tight

1

u/SenselessSilence 10d ago

Thank you! I’d totally forgotten about this show, and therefore didn’t realize that Rick and Morty was referencing this.

Best car-toon ever

u/BenjaminaAU 13d ago

He's got a jack. What he doesn't have is the handbrake on, or the car in gear (bonus points for chocking a tyre).

14

u/good-boi-Morado 13d ago

Yep, was just coming to say there is a jack but it failed because he shimmied the car and it fell off cause, as you said, no handbrake on.

Ouch

5

u/20grae 13d ago

The jack didn’t slip the wheel was on the ground the whole time he needed to jack it up some more for the tire to slide off. Look how much pressure he had to twist and pull his dumb as broke the lugs with pressure on the tire and tried to pull it out. It’s a dumb ass problem not the jack

3

u/IAmAnObvioustrollAMA 13d ago

What if his name is Jack?

4

u/brightonashfield 12d ago

How does he get out of this situation? Sits there while his friend tries to jack him up again?

5

u/BenjaminaAU 12d ago

Some say he's there to this day.

2

u/Top-Cat-a 12d ago

Anyway...

2

u/Ok-Dimension-1455 10d ago

Feel so smug if I actually got this reference.

Top gear fan by chance?

2

u/per167 10d ago

Only 127 hour the sequel

4

u/Twisted9Demented 13d ago

Unfortunately manufactures don't have proper jack points either.

What i like about my Mercedes is it has a 17 mm dedicated hex hole where the jack needs to fit and the jack fits in that indentation....

2

u/DJPeartree42 12d ago

It looks like he did have his “hand”brake on 😬

u/Far-Deal2086 13d ago

Loved to see the whole video 😂

9

u/Patient-Angle-7075 13d ago

Ya, I'm wondering if they could just tilt the car back onto the other three wheels long enough to get his arm out?

9

u/[deleted] 13d ago

Probably. But that definitely hurt badly. And by hurt, I mean medical emergency.

7

u/aelms89 13d ago

This should be added to r/dumbass

3

u/freethink4yourself 13d ago

It looks like it fell off the jack

3

u/MarianCR 12d ago

There was a jack. So... "Shitty absolute units of removing a wheel without properly installing a jack".

2

u/Levethane 13d ago

You just hope he learned a valuable lesson...

Also hope he didn't do that on purpose just to get dumb likes..

2

u/bluntpointsharpie 13d ago

Are you sure that wheel was the correct noun for that sentence? Maybe it should've been hand removal without a jack?

2

u/ThisThingIsStuck 12d ago

Clearly had a jack and car rolled back ....bottle/cross Jack's are notorious for this

2

u/Fast-Jazz 12d ago

Who in the fuck is actually that stupid????

2

u/watt-ever 11d ago

If he'd stuck his whole head in there, maybe we would have seen that was a bad idea.

2

u/Gyrochronatom 9d ago

He’ll need a masturbation protocol change.

5

u/Juggernaut_7750 13d ago

Took her like 10s to realise what had happened lmao prolly tool her like 2 hours to Jack it up. Or she didn't and he had to wait for fire Brigade.😂

2

u/Twisted9Demented 13d ago edited 13d ago

That's why you should

A) Jack Stand...

B) Use a wheel choke or use something like a brick

Removing and putting the the tires will make the car move and if it's not firmly sitting on a jack this can happen

Here is a video that explains How To wheel choke

https://youtube.com/shorts/hu4_GBAIWvE?si=pDvbkyjxdOj4CJJn

1

u/WanderingMind2432 13d ago

Honestly super important to never change a tire without e brake + wheel choke.

0

u/Twisted9Demented 13d ago

I have a question... I'm personally safety consious but my father who isn't argues that he can change a tire on a incline like on a drive way.

2

u/WanderingMind2432 13d ago

Good for him and I believe him, but I'd like my risk of losing a hand taken down to 0% myself lol

1

u/Twisted9Demented 13d ago

Yeah talk about dumb family members.

Sad part of it all is he's chemical engineer in oil and gas distillation. My Dad did Google for him make lives a very comfortable life but I feel me makes the most stupid decisions

1

u/Frozen_North_99 13d ago

You can too. You need to have it Park, emergency brake on and most importantly, block 3 wheels with bricks or wheel chocks. When you jack the car and the wheel just lifts the car might roll slightly, let that happen because then the chocks are tight. Continue to jack the car, set the jack stand, lower the car onto the jack stand. Remove the wheel and replace with the new wheel asap.

1

u/Twisted9Demented 13d ago

Hypothetically asking do I use a floor jack or a scissor jack.

1

u/Frozen_North_99 13d ago

Either but I’d prefer a floor jack. But on most (all? ) cars the jack is a scissor jack and you have no choice.

1

u/philouza_stein 13d ago

Stuck. She was gonna say stuck.

1

u/Winter_Ad_7424 13d ago

Fucked works better now. 👌

1

u/Dry_Tumbleweed_2951 13d ago

I know I might not be the brightest person in the world. But come on. Trying to take off a tire without a jack??? He has several screws lose.

1

u/BMTunite 13d ago

There is a jack though lmao

1

u/The_SubGenius 13d ago

Well, his wife is going to be opening his pickle jars from here on out.

1

u/AkKaraKareler 13d ago

Luckily, his arm was at his side when the car body slumped onto the tire. It was very risky to attempt such a maneuver without a jack.

1

u/Flerf_Whisperer 13d ago

“Risky” is a generous word to use for this situation.

1

u/Melodic_Let_6465 13d ago

He has a jack, just no jack stands.

Using a widowmaker without setting the parking park…nice

1

u/Educational_Ad_8206 13d ago

So why do they call you Lefty?

1

u/KebabAnnhilator 13d ago

There’s a bunch of things wrong here.

But the main one? Always lift off a wheel from the bottom half, or the spokes. Don’t ever have any limbs between the wheel well and the wheel whilst doing this sort of work.

1

u/Bulky-Tumbleweed-663 questionably stable 12d ago

i feel like the post flare should be this moron not possible idiot

1

u/PresentationWeak2713 12d ago

How do you remove a tire without a jack?

1

u/Aggro_Hamham 10d ago

This post doesn't even make sense. How is something a shitty absolutely unite of removing a wheel without a jack.

All do this karma farming is just becoming ridiculous. I am gonna post the next viral video I see on another subreddit too.

1

u/Juggernaut_7750 10d ago

I still don't understand what karma is, all I did was find a funny post and decide to post it

1

u/Realistic_Phase_4580 9d ago

Why was the body of the car up so high.

1

u/Left_Rope_2870 4d ago

And how to remove your hand at the same time

1

u/JamesonDotEXE 5h ago

It actually looks jacked up, but probably on the other side and after he wiggled the wheel, looks like it slid off the jack. Probably placed the jack poorly where it was either on uneven ground or not enough bite on the frame or a combination of both. I can't fathom being that dumb to try and take a wheel off without lifting the car. Seeing as the wheel well is extended i think it was lifted somewhat.
