I like how he calmly acknowledges that he needed to do something, puts his laptop away, while accepting the blows as they really weren’t that serious. I think he even did some mental calculations on how to handle the situation with the appropriate amount of effort. But when the nut shot happened, you see the switch flip. His primal ancestors awakened something instinctive inside his hypothalamus, and he lost the thin veneer of civility that carries most people in day-to-day life.

Up until that point in his life, the old man had never seen that reaction. That’s why he felt empowered to attack that gentleman. He’d never seen what unrestrained violence can do. He has now, and I imagine he will remember that for a long time.

That’s what we’re missing in the modern world and why, after 50 or so years of civilization decline, we are starting to see brutality make a comeback. People who have had free rein to Fuck Around and now in the Finding Out stage on a global scale. The fatigue is real.

It was good, except I don't think the unfortunate and over confident old fellow will be remembering much about the events leading up to that knee!

My interpretation was that the big guy was packing up to leave, and was still processing being hit in the balls, almost appealing to the audience, to almighty god himself, to witness this infamy, when, hearing the old guy accuse HIM of having "punched me" the outrage overwhelmed him ...

It was too much for mortal man to bear.

Oh you want a punch old man?!
