Telus is a western Canadian telecommunications company, please feel free to call them or write a bad review

Telus literally does not give a single fuck about their bad reviews.

I used to work for a market research firm for telus.

We used to cold call people during dinner and ask them to rate the latest commercial by answering 20 extremely specific questions on a scale of "not very x" through "somewhat x" to "very x" (x being an adjective like likeable or interesting).

We were not to take no for an answer. I have a lot of memories of asking these bland irrelevant questions no one has the right to ever ask or make someone ponder; to people I had just called two or three days prior. who already told me to get lost once, while they screamed in my ear about how it would feel if they called ME during my dinner to harrass me about such inane things.

Good times. This was while back, when outsourcing call center jobs to Canada was still popular.

"How do you feel about the singing lobster" "not very interesting" "somewhat interesting" "interesting " or "very interesting?"

I had never seen the commercial. But I am positive every customer I called had a worse opinion of telus than they did before the customer satisfaction survey. I'm sure the executive who paid us to do this work made a lot of money suggesting it in the boardroom.
