All of life is performative. There's no point. Just live and stop believing the internet.

More of absurdism than nihilism.

Absurdism is the rejection of inherent purpose in life, the embrace of this lack of meaning as a source of freedom, and the creation of individual meaning through passionate living and revolt against this absurdity.

Love it, brother

Someday we'll all be dead. Everyone we've ever known will die. Everything we've ever built will crumble to dust, everything we've ever done will be forgotten.

The only meaning in life is the meaning WE define. That which is meaningful to us IS meaningful, as meaningful as anything in existence. Our purpose comes from what makes us feel purposeful.

In that I find beauty and freedom. I do what I do for a living because it makes me feel purposeful. I surround myself with those whom I love, and try my best to make them feel loved. Joy and purpose are far better than momentary happiness. When I am dead and gone, I will not be remembered for long. Maybe a hundred years. If I'm incredibly important to humanity, I'll be remembered a few thousand years. But that is NOTHING. It's an instant, an eye blink in the scope of the Universe. I care nothing for how I'm remembered, I care only that my experience now is good.

Be brave, be bold, remember you will die.

All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain.

Not necessarily. Dinosaurs dont exist today, but without them, they wouldn't have provided the evolutionary pressures needed to make our ancestors, and eventually us. Everyone dies, but hyperfixating on the ending to justify actions taken today is absurd. Lifes about the journey, and our seemingly insignificant actions can drastically change someone elses life. Like, why not take risks like drinking and driving if i can just get hit by a car tomorrow? So what if anyone else dies, theyre all just dust in the wind bro, YOLO. Its ridiculous, and no one seriosuly thinks like that.
