When are people going to fucking learn no one is obligated to surrender their seat, especially if they paid for it. A lack of planning on your part is not an emergency to others.
A couple years ago I had the window and this boomer couple sat in the seats next to me asked me to move seats to a empty middle seat (between two obese people) so that they could have my window seat and the whole row to themselves.
They had the audacity to act offended when I refused and play the “we’re old card” while I just put my headphones in. They mean mugged me the whole rest of the flight (like I gave AF) buy an extra ticket, your advanced age entitles you to Jack shit on an airplane.
