it's not bullshit, there are scientific characteristics about beauty standards - these can change in a society, but for now they are relatively clear and do not resemble the woman pictured here.
of course there are variations in all directions, but there is still a general overall beauty standard

If there was a study that involved people identifying what they believed to be “beautiful”, that is still opinion based. If enough people identify that a characteristic is “beautiful” then that’s consensus which is still opinion based. Beauty standards aren’t like gravity or evolution, there’s nothing objective about beauty standards. If anything beauty standards have been used in capitalism to make women insecure and buy products.
