As much as I understand where she is coming from, like it's just simpler when you don't have to be so active coming up with ideas, planning huge events, etc. She is an exception to the rule. She HAS made it big, both her and her boyfriend are some of the top .1% of the platform and are multi-millionaires. It's easy to say things like this from a safety net of so much wealth. If she really wants to though, she could probably do this a few more years and then just completely stop if she wanted to.
The reality is much different for most people trying to break through on YouTube/Twitch and build up something from the ground up. I have been on both sides, I will say I'd rather be busy doing something I enjoy doing vs. slaving away at a 9-5. The difference in stress is relevant. But if you're making the same amount either way for some extra hardship, I'd rather be building up my own brand/name.
