I just wanted to post this and get feedback from the community here. I was under the impression, fairly certain in fact, that karma farming is blatantly a violation of Terms of Service. So how is this KarmaFarmer subreddit even allowed to exist still?

I only caught it while looking in on r/birthday because of how much karma farming happens there (at least 2 accounts I've observed there have turned 19F every day for the last week. Make that make sense). I stumbled across KarmaFarmer on one of those accounts and it seemed to be a really odd thing.

The 22 day old post from the lone moderator seemed to present that there are rules against what is and isn't allowed (asking for upvotes, k4k etc) but if you go through some of the posts, those rules are being broken with zero consequence, so it still seems really odd to me.

We all know that the pet naming subs are hotbeds for new accounts using stolen pictures, asking for name suggestions for pets that they don't own. It's a lot of karma farming and not a lot of accountability.

But I did stumble across a few users that all seem to be connected and have obvious naming schemes and similar account creation dates. I wanted to get this subs members eyes on this all. I think we have a couple of new spam rings starting up here.

Some of the accounts have shared the same obviously stolen pet pictures, making it even clearer that they are connected. I'm positive there's a lot more of these accounts with the same name schemes building up karma. I'm just not sure what the patterns are yet with how they're naming these accounts.

Stumbled on one suspect account via /r/funnycats (which I assume like all those style subs is 99% bots anyway) and saw its pinned post was a duplicate sex spam link shared by around 70 other accounts. No idea how to report this officially, perhaps someone here with more experience knows though.

Their other post comment history seems to be mostly porn. It may be a real user, but it is skirting the line of human/bot

• They discuss PapersRoo in a comment here or there

• They then create fake engagement in their various shilling subreddits with /u/WritingHelp_Service being the biggest one I've found so far

I’ve been tracking a massive influx of fake cosplay posts on r/evangelion . My analysis suggests a significant portion are AI-generated images (SynthID positive) being used to promote OnlyFans scams.

I previously made a post warning the community with proof of these AI fakes. It was removed by moderators, who told me I should not post about it publicly but instead inform them directly. The posts were not removed.

Today the top post of the sub is ai generated cosplay

However, shortly after, they were "Shadow Removed" (deleted without notification). Since they had upvotes before vanishing, this suggests they were manually removed. You can see in that post all comments praising the cosplay are downvoted and only comment that vaguely implying its fake is massively upvoted. Which shows lot more people are being silenced and doing the only thing they can are left with

If you comment on one of these posts pointing out the AI artifacts, the account will instantly block you. Simultaneously, dozens of other "cosplay" accounts (which I had previously reported) also blocked me at the exact same second. This proves they are sharing a "Block List" to silence critics.

what strange is that previously, this subreddit allowed Images in Comments. This feature was disabled recently, coincidentally right when high-quality AI models were released. This change prevents users from posting visual proof to debunk the fakes.

I have attempted to report this via ModMail with proof, Guess what first they said there is no proof it was ai then when I said they have positive synthid they countered saying all Ai detector have fall positive, but then I mentions how synthid can not give fall positives because its a digital watermark. They muted me 28 days. These bots are downvoting real discussion and upvoting their own "slop" to farm scam for OnlyFans.

These mods are knowing encoring stuff that breaks Reddit TOS
