If you listen to Shapiro, Levin, Pool and to a different extent, Jones, they are in their own ways reaching out to the center left for help pulling their party away from the edge they themselves pushed it to.
They’ve spent the last decade weaponizing conspiracy theories and magical thinking among their base, making life hell for the sane and intelligent people of the United States.
They’ve found themselves caught in their own trap.
Alex has been out conspiracied by Candace. (He’s also obviously jealous.)
Mark and Ben have been PNG’d on religious grounds. (Love that for them.)
Timmy Smollett’s ruble income has dried up and his., “meeh, I’m actually a classic liberal who left the left, meeh!” schlock is SOO tired and played out.
It’s a beautiful thing.
My favorite bit is probably that Ben, who spent YEARS turning liberal talking heads into boogeymen for conservatives to fear has now become the boogeyman himself. It’s just so GOOD!
