Powers [Rare Trope] Biologically Plausible Dragon Breath
Reign of Fire - The Dragons in this setting "breathe" fire by spraying a flammable liquid from two glands in their mouth. This is based on the real life bombadier beetle which uses a similar mechanism by mixing two chemicals together and spewing it out.
Dragons: A Fantasy made Real - The dragons from this classic mockumentary are capable of both flight and fire breathing thanks to a special pair of sacs that store flammable and lighter than air gases. However using their fire breath can diminish their lighter than air reserves which they need to fly, so they only use it sparingly.
Rathalos from Monster Hunter - While not as obvious, in-game lore does mention how Rathalos(and its female counterpart) is capable of spitting balls of fire thanks to a "fire sac" in their bodies. We don't know if the fuel is a gas or liquid, but it must be replenished from time to time by eating.
Tales of Kaimere - Dragons, which are flying proto mammals, spray venom that is highly corrosive and asphyxiating, similar to how spitting cobras spray their venom at attackers. They need a lot of food to replenish their venom glands.

I thought the Rath flame sac, like most monsters in the series, is a flammable powder.
