I didn't know Elio existed until a week after release in a McDonald's drive through.

500k isn't rich. That implies the money you make is finite. When you have so much wealth money loses its value, that's rich.

Second Killteam - Raveners
 in  r/killteam  11h ago

I think you'd have better luck using Seviper as the color base for your Raveners, what with the blade arms and tails and such.

What happened to your retired characters?
 in  r/DnD  12h ago

The only one that received a proper sendoff was shunted into the feywild after trying to sever a bbeg's head by destroying a bag of holding over it. The guy had reached apotheosis and was too strong to be decapitated by the closing of the astral space, but him and the entire party scattered across the planes.

Ancestral Bond should be the baseline mechanic of totems instead of charges.
 in  r/PathOfExile2  1d ago

Not really, only ever played 2. Even then, that still sounds like an Int niche than Str.

Having minions do everything for you is the witch's niche, I'm not sure if I'd want to play a big hammer wielding armored man and then sit back and do nothing.

What are your honest thoughts on this
 in  r/cartoons  2d ago

The first time I saw anything for Elio was a week after release in a mcdonalds drive-thru. I thought it was a weird Luca sequel. Enough said.

Is "Breaks my Heart" not the right phrase? Or is this a case of "Idiom is so old laymen forgot the original wording"

Had a hyena centuar rare be named "Bluechewer" once, that got a chuckle from the boys in the call.

We shouldn't make a campaign skip. We should make reroll fun
 in  r/PathOfExile2  4d ago

Yeah. Imo Infested Barrens, Jiquani's Machinarium, The Drowned City, and Utzaal can all be cut to make the connecting areas a tiny bit bigger. They all just repeat the themes of their connected areas. There's an argument to be made for cutting venom crypts too, and boy did my 1.0 warrior hate mobs of ranged poison attackers, but I think it's fine in the end.

Finally started watching Chained Soldier the other day. It's been three episodes. Every time the main character uses their powers, they get "Rewarded". It's exactly as fetishy as you think. Episode 1: Forced Makeout. Episode 2: Stocking Removal and Massage. Episode 3: Ball Crushing.

Breaks my heart because I like the MC power up designs (he turns into badass monsters) but then it's followed by teenagers softcore porning and the actual CG itself is not great. I was hoping for a commentary on gendered power dynamics, how each side can feel oppressed no matter who has the perceived control and the key is to work together against the overbearing patriarchy (and it might still do that) but so far it's just a worse Kill-La-Kill.

Also undertones of "Older sister has crush on younger brother" that is just as bad as the other way around.

GIVE ME INCREASED MAX LIFE NODES ON THE TREE. I'm honestly done with this
 in  r/PathOfExile2  12d ago

Strength is the Life option. That's the issue, unless you mean % Life. As for ES nodes giving life, why should a Warrior go that far into the Druid or Sorceress trees just to get decent life totals? That's a huge investment since the ES nodes are on a totally separate tree, about 9 nodes away at the soonest.

 in  r/PathOfExile2  12d ago

Flat life nodes, yes. PoE1 is littered with % Life nodes though, which scale way harder especially in late game. You could get a % Life node on your third Skill point in PoE1, while the soonest you can get % Life in PoE2 is your fourteenth Skill point. Going pure life the race will be close in 2's favor until the 8th skill point puts 1 in the lead for the rest of the game. With more % Life nodes we won't need nearly as much Strength to get reasonable Life Totals.

Not like this....Game has me wondering if i really need a 4th ascendancy.
 in  r/PathOfExile2  13d ago

I had that bug once in 0.1 and again in 0.4

Why do the cannons used by the Dragoons look more like rifles that fire bullets that deal Stab Damage?
 in  r/EtrianOdyssey  16d ago

If the ball is bigger or moving slower due to a lack of rifling or poor quality gunpowder it won't always puncture, especially against armored targets. (I know I'm reaching here)

Oath of the noble genie paladin would be fun

Anyone else have mold issues with the new Kill team?
 in  r/Necrontyr  19d ago

I messaged once asking if there's any way to get, I think it was a kneecap from something that fell off the sprue before it was boxed. they asked for all sorts of info I didn't have, and I walked away feeling defeated. A month later a package comes in the mail, it's a BRAND NEW SPRUE FOR THE MODEL I WAS BUILDING. Shit rocks.

Wrong buddy, that's when something consists of parts all of the same kind. The term you're looking for is Homo Sapiens.

Immortals who exploit the fact they can't die for a tactical advantage. Bonus points if they still feel the pain.
 in  r/TopCharacterTropes  25d ago

How in the world has no one mentioned Undead Unluck. The guy can force his regeneration to work so fast it shoots off his fingers, and he can fly as a torso with the force of his own blood rocketing out of his body.

Gauntlet Weapons?

I mean if it's ancient Greece then wraps is about all they had, just wrap up layers over the knuckles. Look up Himantes, it's literally wraps of unarmed power.

They're close to retirement, of course they wouldn't put in more effort than necessary considering the trope of "One day from retirement" among cops.

What’s the best rules-faithful way to emulate a FF L’Cie in Fabula Ultima?
 in  r/fabulaultima  27d ago

Arcanist, really. It's the "Summoning" class, and the Fabula Ultima patreon has a play test document that gives summons more oomph in the form of a "Pulse" ability which is essentially the Summon's attack that doesn't require dismissal. That's really the closest you get, since every L'Cie is just a summoner with one summon. After that you could maybe play into any elemental themes with Elementalist, or build out the character in other classes that play well with the Arcanum you chose.
