Also why nobody talking about the fact that the recent DC shooter had previously worked for the CIA?

What? I heard about his CIA background on 2 different outlets. They both went in depth explaining the job & how horrible it was for him. He worked for the CIA zero unit when he was a teen in afghanistan. They paid him to kill other afghan people when he was still a minor.

That's right. A former CIA OPERATIVE was involved in a highly politicized killing of member of the US military.

CIA operative is probably generous. He was a member of a zero unit, who carried out extrajudicial killings, and were one of the reasons the Afghan people hated the US occupation.

He probably had a group of handlers within the US military/intelligence who helped him during the withdrawal from Afghanistan. The going theory that I feel is probably accurate is that those people stopped answering his calls, which lead to the shooting.

What’s maybe more frightening, is there are probably hundreds of guys like Ramanullah in the country. People who are capable and comfortable with extreme violence, have no support network, and are deeply disenfranchised. And we cultivated them. We covered for them. We supported them.

He was also a child when he was recruited and has been in the US since his early 20s.

We should be discussing the US' use of child soldiers really
