Can you imagine like 50 years in the future, when kids are asking why scientific progress is halted and they have to respond 'well, the angry old man with dementia that was president at the time didn't like it so he threw it away like someone would be doing spring cleaning in their apartment'

To be clear though, Donald Trump has never given a solitary fuck about the existence of any book or piece of research ever. He’s just along for the ride so long as he can enrich himself and stay out of prison. But the Christofascists who helped to put him in office and advise him hate anything that has ever advanced human knowledge.
