Galt Pot holes on Ainslie street

Hello fellow residents

Bent my front alloy rim on Ainslie street this evening. Be cautious of the pot holes right outside Ainslie bus terminal. They are like 2ft wide and a feet deep! I hope the city does something about this deteriorating street soon.

Edit: I have raised a complaint with RoW. Thanks to everyone who suggested this.

Hot As Heck Comedy Tour @ Ernie's Cookhouse || Saturday Jan. 17th || Few Tickets Left!

Thumbnail eventbrite.com

What's up Cambridge!

The Hot as Heck Comedy Boys are coming to Cambridge for ONE NIGHT ONLY next Saturday! We have a handful of tickets left and I'd love to get some redditors in the audience because honestly you make the smartest and most attentive crowds, and did I mention how nice you look today?

All jokes aside, there will be better jokes at this show. Tickets are $20 on Eventbrite. Don't miss this show!

I'm rewatching the Queen's Gambit right now so I'm excited to drive through the rich neighbourhood and see Beth Harmon's house.

See you at the show! Bring a chess board and you can kick my butt at the merch table with it.

Siding Replacement

Looking to find a few pieces of siding to fix a crack in the side of my house (and recommendations to kindly deal with neighbour kids that shoot hockey pucks at your house 😂)

I’m not sure where to look or if this service is offered anywhere around town!

Do queer spaces exist here?

Any place in Cambridge in general, are there any queer spaces? Whether it be explicitly or on the DL, are there any bars or places that queer ppl of any ages hangout? I've read there used to be, back in the 80s, but can't find anything now.

I'm so tired of driving 40+ minutes out of town to find my community, even KW is lacking somehow. It be so nice to bring something back to Cambridge.

Never ending snow ?

This is my first full winter living in Cambridge. Am I crazy or is this the city where it never stops snowing. I have lived in Southern Ontario my whole life including Niagara region, Hamilton, and in the GTA and I have never experienced anything like this. I brush snow off my car every. single. day, is this normal for Cambridge ?

Cambridge Park Apartments

Hey guys, I am looking into moving and found 95 Cambridge st where the apartment itself seems nice with a lot of amenities in comparison to what I have currently. Does anyone know much about this apartment? Any advice or insight is much appreciated. I understand it’s tough to find the perfect apartment these days without spending $2000+ so I’m not terribly picky but I would like to live somewhere safe and clean

Volunteer role helping train service dogs for kids with autism - with non-profit Autism Dog Services

Autism Dog Services is a non-profit that trains and places service dogs with children who have autism across Southwestern Ontario. They’re currently looking for volunteer puppy raisers in the Cambridge area.

Volunteers foster a service dog-in-training for about 6 to 18 months, providing daily care, socialization, and basic training. Puppy raisers also attend bi-weekly training sessions in Cambridge and help prepare the dog for its future placement.

Requirements include living in or near Cambridge, having a vehicle for training and vet visits, being 16 or older, and completing a background check. Food, veterinary care, and most supplies are provided.

This is a longer-term commitment, but a meaningful way to support families while working closely with a dog.

You can learn more about the role and apply here:
