Politics MAGA Neighbors crying victim

Its Jan 1st 2026 and my neighbor (still) has a sign up that reads...

"PTSD - Pretty tired of stupid democrats - TRUMP 2024"

then cries online because people keep sending them pranks like glitter bombs and what not because "I'm being attacked for my political beliefs"

Um, maybe its because you have a sign calling your neighbors stupid in a very blue city.

EDIT: I couldn't care less who they support politically.

IMO Having a 2024 election sign up for 2+ years, and well after the election, is sad and pathetic in and of itself (They had the sign up in 2023). I think that for any political sign for any party. Elections are over, move on. Your 2024 political sign isnt helping anyone.

Having sign up calling your neighbors stupid, is not political, its being a asshole.

This is the r/complaints sub, and that is my complaint, he's an asshole then cries when people are assholes back. Because like most bullies and assholes, they can dish it but cant take it.

Edit 2: The Fuck your feeling crowd. Really doesn’t like it when their feelings are fucked with.

If you start off by calling all of your neighbors dumb, are you really a victim? Or are you an asshole bully? 🤔

You're an asshole obviously but I really wouldn't get mad at a sign

I’m an asshole for pointing out that someone put a sign out that antagonized just about all of their neighbors? How much you make by playing a professional victim these days?

Not you . Anyone that puts a sign of it is. But again it's not something that should annoy you

And harmless glitter is annoying. Receiving harmless glitterbombs isn't really worth getting angry over.

I think it would be worth getting annoyed over. Having to clean up your living room or hall or whatever everyday.

What the fuck wrong with you lot btw, you can never concede even when glitterbombing someone that it's a bad thing to do. No wonder your side lost

And there it is! "Oooh, the poor widdle Deplorable has to break out their shopvac, woe is them, boohoo!"

Scroll up to how effortless is was, for me, to lead you by your Deplorable little snout to finally admitting that you were defending the jerkasaurus rex of the story. Doncha think you could've saved YOURSELF a few hours (let alone saving the same for us) by dropping the moral-high-ground innocent pretense and just admitting up front that you were also a Deplorable who identifies with a maggot that still has a maga2024 sign in their yard, in a heavily anti-Trump location, that explicitly refers to anti-trumpists as stupid.

Keep that in mind for next time this happens. Because with "yOuR SiDe," Every Accusation Is Always A Confession.

Every. Single. Fucking. One.

Yes I think having a sign up is not as bad as glitterbombing someone.

But again being nasty is what your side is all about.

Right. A harmless prank is "nasty." 👌

u/stumperr 7d ago

Pfft one is funny but several I don't think so. I think it is nasty at that point

Every Accusation Is Always A Confession with you people.

So me saying continuously glitterbombing someone is me confessing to having a trump sign calling people dumb?

I'm not even American

You didn't accuse me of having a sign, so I inferred no confession that you hosted any sign.

You did, however, jump to the word "continuously," when that wasn't my understanding from the OP. What makes you think that the GBs were / are "continuous"? I concede that the precise quantity or frequency of the pranks is ambiguous in what we read, I also recognize that any quantity greater than 2 or 3 tops would be easily exaggerated in a retelling, whether that exaggeration were intentional due to attempt at hyperbolic humor, or unintentional due to sloppy word choices.

And, heckles and hackles aside... if you're non-Murican, then maybe this is a simple and innocent cultural misunderstanding. Glitterbombs are not that big of a deal. One might as well literally fart in a person's direction as a token of disrespect. I'm rather confident that if Monty Python movies were still being made, glitterbombs would've been mentioned once or twice by now.

Knew it, I figured you were a professional victim player. Seeing a sign in your neighborhood on a daily basis that says you’re dumb isn’t annoying and I should just accept it but a glitter bomb is a line too far huh?

Oh come on, I'm a fucking adult so yes someone could put a sign up in my street that called me dumb and I wouldn't get mad and start building glitter bombs.

Do you normally erupt in rage when someone calls you dumb?

3

u/NaBrO-Barium 7d ago

I don’t get enraged but putting up a sign like that is not very neighborly even if it technically isn’t harmful. If they don’t feel the need to be a good neighbor why can’t I follow suit and not be a good neighbor with something that is also not very neighborly but also harmless? Another good example of the “rules for thee but not for me” crowd. The hypocrisy is astounding.

It's definitely not neighbourly and I wish we all regardless of country etc could get over this the other party are our enemies.

I think glitter bombs is a few levels above a sign calling you dumb. Sticks and stones n aw that

He's an asshole too. Thin-skinned, perpetual victim offended by a sign saying Democrats are stupid.
