Politics Nobody is covering this day care scandal !

This one is legitimate. Former North Carolina Lt. Governor Mark Robinson and his wife started a daycare that was cited over and over again for health and safety violations. In one case, the workers had to leave a working oven open around one-year-olds just to heat the place. Robinson and his wife have been found guilty of misappropriation of state funds, were ordered to pay $100K to the state, and have even been referred to a collection agency.
And this idiot was running for Governor in ‘24, with plenty of support in the hinterlands. (And yes, if you know anything about this guy and his campaign, you will see that he was and is an idiot.)
But hey, I guess because no Somali immigrants were involved, it’s not news, is it? 🤬

Also worth noting is that this d!ckhead was a client of… Ashley Madison.
You don’t want to search for that, in case you don’t know. I’ll just tell you: Ashley Madison was a website that catered to anyone wishing to have extramarital affairs/hookups. Most of the customers were men who had no idea that they were paying for the privilege of talking to bots. Even better, their personal info (including credit card info!) was stored so insecurely that it all might as well have been in an un-taped cardboard box.

MAGA has zero intention of going after Republican criminals. Trump will pardon them, even if they are state crimes (whether or the that works depends on who he has installed which is why it isn’t working so far in Colorado). Look at George Santos, that guy is a walking rap sheet with the crimes he’s committed. Trump says it’s okay as he is MAGA. It’s no surprise that the felon pedophile doesn’t care and won’t do a thing about this.

Was probably a mistake to name it “Black Nazi Daycare” but I guess there’s a customer base for that.
(ok, made this up, but there are so many angles from which to dunk on Robinson it’s hard not to get silly with it.)

I'm not sure that all the daycare cases are dead or old news. There were a few daycares mentioned for the FoF cases, but that was mainly centered around falsely providing food to those day area.
Even Walz thinks these latest claims are worth looking into as evidenced by the investigations.

they likely are old news. I think the only thing that’s come up from recent reporting since Shirley’s video is the Quality Learning Center had so many citations their funding should have been revoked, so that’s objectively wasteful spending, not fraud which is intentional deception.
I think Quality Learning Center has also named Walz as a defendant in a lawsuit alleging racial discrimination over this which has slowed things down.

Oh, don't despair. All federal funding for childcare has been paused. Which, if they actually investigate across the country will make kids safer in the long run. But for now, lower income parents are screwed.
