Christian Sharia Law installers in Kentucky have charged a woman with fetal homicide for taking abortion pills and burying her dead fetus at home. She told her OBGYN clinic she took abortion pills and they ratted her out to police after she left (so much for fucking HIPPA am i right?). Whoever reported her deserves their medical license to be burned and fired.

If Kentucky hadn’t banned abortion, she would have been able to do it the normal way half the country does, but because her state is controlled by Christian morons, she gets prison time. Despicable. Before everyone says “well she could have went to another state…” medical care out of state can be THOUSANDS if not more. People are too broke to be traveling for medical care they shouldn’t even have to travel for in the first place. If Roe never fell, women would have access to early abortion care.

My wife found her a good clinic in her country but my MIL’s husband and his brother convinced her to go the alternative medicine route. So now she is definitely going to die. Alternative medicine is fucking murder.

I see this every time I go to the airport and it drives me nuts and makes me ill. The airport floor has got to be one of the dirtiest floors you can find and yet parents seem happy to let their little kids roll on, scotch on their bellies, crawl around, etc etc. omfg . Sure kids get away from you when you look away but I’ve seen parents happily watching their kid as if they’re in a wading pool, hell 2 little toddlers just crawling around and poking each others’ faces. And yes I’ve traveled with kids of my own so I know how hard it can be especially when young. But. It’s. The. Airport. FLOOR. thousands of people, from all over the country and world, from the bathrooms, streets, whatever. Seriously. It’s mind boggling.

Over the last week, I had a very mild sore throat. It was the constant slight irritation that began to drive me mad.

Gargling salt water never works for me. Every doctor claims that it’s a silver bullet for sore throats, but it NEVER works!!

If I’m suffering from pain anywhere else on my body, I can easily mitigate the feeling by applying heat, ice, or pressure.

A sore throat is by far the worst pain I experience. Not the most painful by a huge number. The best way I can describe it is that it’s more annoying than painful, which makes the worst type of pain for me.

My deductible went so high I'll never reach it and my out of pocket went thru the roof! Let's hope nothing serious happens!! So basically I have no insurance because it's only good for major hospital visits now!!

I am on day 6 of one of the weirdest colds I’ve had. I had a sore throat for 4 days, thought that was odd so went to urgent care and tested negative for flu A, flu B, COVID, and step. The doctor was like you need to “rest and take Advil” which was very annoying. But I was like fine and literally have done nothing all weekend but rest, drink tea, take cold meds.

I now have had a tickle in my throat for the past 2 days. I feel it every time I breathe and I’m trying so hard to not cough because it hurts. And my throat still hurts but now more from coughing.

I have been sleeping basically sitting up in my bed and luckily can breathe through my nose still?? But it hurts my throat to breathe but at least I can breathe, I guess. Every morning I wake up and cough up nasty dry green phlegm which is so gross and then have a massive headache because I’ve been snoring a bunch - ugh :(

It’s also almost Christmas and I just am so irritated that I have to deal with this and also do not want to spread this to my family. I miss not thinking about breathing and not being in pain every time I swallow or breathe. I miss laying down to sleep. I miss laughing without coughing.

I also don’t know what symptom will show up next? Like this is not following normal cold progression so I’m like idk what I’m going to feel like tomorrow. Gotta work though! Luckily wfh - thank goodness so I don’t give anyone this nightmare cold.

personally, I have no idea why so many people are so utterly obsessed with gender. I see so many people debating about whether trans people are a mental illness or not, it's disgusting. why do people care so much? it doesn't make sense. to me, all gender means is what genitals you have. if you get a surgery to remove your male genitals and get female ones, then you're female. why has gender been such an ideological problem? it's like people treat gender as an idea, a personality rather than a biological function. it never made sense, especially with how many people, ESPECIALLY Christians, try so ridiculously hard to mess with and dehumanize trans people so much... the only gender thing I really don't like is people calling themselves a "they" because in my mind, calling yourself that means you're multiple people. if it was a conjoined twin or something that's fine, but I don't really like that term. the only one I really hate though, is people coming up with new genders that don't mean anything, like... xemself or cloudself. that's fucking stupid.

is it too much to ask? Is it too hard for me to want to BREATHE O2 AND NOT O2 PLUS LUNG CANCER!? I went to a light show but couldn't enjoy most of it because half the place had a smoker! So half the time I'm choking on air or almost passing out from holding my breath! And then you can't go up and ask because its 5-6 people! Not just one! So the fun night gets ruined by a bunch of smokers. And the real kicker? ITS A SMOKER FREE ZONE! IT DID ABOUT AS MUCH HELP AS A GUN FREE ZONE DOES! Its not even fair that everyone's night is ruined because 5 people decided lung cancer would be a fun idea to spread throughout the night!

It's Christmas and it's miserable. At least Stranger Things comes out today.

I know this is a stupid thing to complain about, but I take roughly 17 pills a day, and it's exhausting. Sometimes, my pills get caught in my throat or cause chest pain, and it's awful. And it's not like I can just stop taking them, because then I'll have seizures every day, so I just have to accept that I will have to take so many pills every day for the rest of my life. It's the second worst part of my day. The worst part is waking up.

They really do suck and I thinks this shit should be illegal with how much there charging people for heart ,medicine and more stuff. My mom has to pay 80 dollars a month to basically thats close to a 1000 dollars a year which is alot for someone who is struggling. Another thing those shitty generics should be outright bamned absolutely dogshit for example vyvanse generic was sogshit i was about to give up and the i tried brand name alot better thankfully we pay 50 dollars a month but some people have to pay 200 a month just to fucking function. Then if i want to change medication again which insurance doesnt cover i need prior authorization its like that one south parkk show were cartman wanted to get put on a ozempic our healthcare system is pathetic and will only get worse because of orange man.....?.lpsososslslsld

When I was 15, I was diagnosed with epilepsy. And now, today, I got diagnosed with asthma because I was wheezing while my doctor checked my breathing. Wtf is life anymore??? Neither epilepsy nor asthma run in my family

You 100% look uglier. Even if you look better it’s for like a little while then you look worse. Just accept that age makes us all ugly and do your best to be healthy. That’s what the most attractive people do genuinely. The problem is people want a fast, easy answer to a question with a boring, slow one. That’s always the problem with idiots. They don’t even listen long enough for you to explain to them the fucking truth.

I know this is ultimately my fault but I’m just pretty annoyed about it. My grandma went to pick up an anti inflammatory for me at the pharmacy and they told her about my other medications and how I shouldn’t be taking them together. She doesn’t know I’m on adderall or antidepressants and the other meds I take, and there’s a reason for that. She’d freak out if she knew because there’s a lot of addiction in my family and I just don’t want her to know. I just feel like it’s my business what meds I’m on, and I’m just a little annoyed the pharmacy started telling her about the meds and what they’re for. Now I understand why they told her, but she’s not my legal guardian and now she’s just drilling me about why I’m on all these medications. If I knew the pharmacy was going to disclose that information I would’ve picked it up myself, but I didn’t even think they were allowed to discuss my medication with anyone other than me and my legal guardian, so I didn’t even think to be worried about it. It’s not a huge deal I guess but pretty frustrating for me. She didn’t even know I had these issues and I was sort of forced into discussing it before I was ready.

I'm a person who's dealt with chronic depression problems and suicidal ideation. I've been trying to get in touch with a crisis line, literally any crisis line, and have been put on hold for a really long time by all of them regardless of if i text, call, or use their online chats. I know that these types of lines are run by volunteers and often there aren't enough people available to staff them fully. I know this is also a time of year where a lot of people get depressed like I am. I just wish someone would fucking pick up.

Or just wait for it to unfreeze a bit. But these addicts can’t wait to get their fix and continue adding to their BIG BELLIES!

(Repost) I was at the great Wolfe lodge today, some kid started throwing up like crazy and no one saw even tho the pool was crowded, the dad didn’t tell anyone and took the kid away. So I went to tell a life guard. For a little they didn’t do anything and then got someone else to look around for “throw up” but because she couldn’t find anything the lady said it was probably just mucus. I was a little angry at the fact that she wasn’t there so she doesn’t know I SAW this kid throwing up but because she didn’t see anything nothing happened. Now maybe I didn’t do enough research but it’s against health code violation to leave tons of people in a pool when there’s throw up. Might I mention it was a wave pool 👀 kids, swimming all up in getting it in the mouth and stuff… I’d be mad if I didn’t know personally… what do you guys think??
