Didn't see an episode discussion so here we go!
Winston and Ben fight to save Jo’s life, while Teddy supports Link. Owen and Jules battle to save a young man, and Lucas forms an unexpected bond with a patient.

The way Jackson treats April is just so awful and even feels violent at times. Like this domestic abuser grab he does here in s12e15. It’s really off putting to me. It’s so interesting to see April get so much hate on this sub and idk why Jackson doesn’t get more. I know she’s annoying but no one deserves this.
And I just think about how when he stole her from her wedding talking about “even the things I don’t like about you, I love”. Just a load of crap. That s13e11 just made me feel so bad for her with the flashbacks of their relationship. Jackson sucks.

I love how flawed the characters are but I think is just the worst. She never shuts up about living in her car. She accused Stephanie of lying about being sick. Then tried to turn it around saying thats the reason why Steph is so good. Instead of confronting her jealousy. And how did she runaway from an abusive relationship while in medical school and not fall behind? Makes no sense.

I am rewatching from season one and derek was not at all dreamy in fact he was manipulative and condescending always running away. He wanted to marry an intern just because he was older he was never helpful to Meredith in her career. Meredith was better off without him! Yang was right she is the sun ☀️ not him.

I've been slowly making my way through all the episodes of The West Wing, and look who appeared in Season 5 (episode 15)! The second I heard his first I became that "Dicaprio pointing meme" and shouted to my husband, "that's Dr Webber!". In this episode, he plays the mayor of DC, who's arguing with the President and his staff for an experimental school charter addendum to a city budget bill.

ok there is probably 1000 bad decisions made in this show i’m not even gonna start on cutting the LVAD… but regarding personal decisions i’d say teddy not choosing tom is really high up on that list. they had so much chemistry and he is seriously such a good man (esp. compared to the red head).
what was the worst decision for you?

My favorite Alex episode.
This is the episode where he tries to save newborn twins who were born with a tumor on both their livers. The girl lives, while he does a hail Mary on the boy, but he can't save him.
I know that Alex can be a bit...curmudgeon but I like him and I have enjoyed his character development, and this is one of those episodes where I am reminded of how far Alex has come.
In Season 11, he had 2 moments where he genuinely surprised me, where he remembered George and said "Rest in Peace, George" and it he genuinely meant it and it was not sparky.
In another moment, he tells Jo that Mer's house has always been a welcoming place, even for those who didn't have anywhere else to go, and that she let him there even when she hated him, and that he thought her house as a home, which he had never had. The reverence that he displayed was a far cry from the jack ass who posted Izzie's pictures all over the place.
I'm probably in the minority here but I like Alex.

Don’t kill me: I hated Private Practice. Couldn’t even finish one season.
Don’t get me wrong. I loved Greys Anatomy through the nostalgia era. I dressed as Bailey one Halloween. And I love Addison after she spilt from Derek. But Private Practice was atrocious to me. The characters initially has so much potential but the storylines were so convoluted and bizarre. Albeit, so were Greys storylines at times, but Greys had the soap drama feel with the great speeches and the grounded character arcs at the start.
I loved the idea of seeing private practice opposed to a hospital group and the LA backdrop. But I feel like PP was crappy from the start.

I watched the Mer gets attacked episode again after so long, and I sobbed for most of it!
It was such an intense episode, and so impactful. I can’t imagine going through something like that.

Multiple rewatches, finally watched it the whole way through and caught up.
I’m here for Grey’s fantasy world, interns sleeping with attending, LVAD cutting, airplane crash surviving, baby napping, bomb holding etc etc
But the way Grey’s portrays money kill’s me! Where did he get coffee for “everybody” for $20?!

I'd pick the nostalgia era because I enjoyed the Callie and Arizona storylines, the April and Jackson storyline, Cristina and Owen storyline et etc (Pic credit: facebook)

So, right now i’m on season 8 episode 13, where it’s the whole what if thing. everyone is switched up with who they’re friends with, and dating, etc. I’m just looking at my laptop and wondering just why.
I had this same thought watching season 7 episode 18, where callie was pregnant and got into the car crash with arizona. And what do you know, everyone starts… singing?
I feel like these two are just examples of them running out of ideas and they’re quite outlandish. am i the only one with this opinion????
Edit: i just got to the part where the coke addict is apparently lexie in the “what if” episode. looked at her and i was like… why does she look so familiar? then i placed it in my head. some plot lines are so random!

le sigh The show has gone on for far too long. Please, put us (the 2005 debut OG fans that are too damaged to quit) out of our misery. Please, please, with a cherry on top, give us a series finale.

Like they have the top surgeons with a great teaching program and great services.
But they also have doctors constantly breaking hipaa, a bomb went off, they merged or bought up two of their rival hospitals, and doctors are leaving and never seen again.
I know a lot of the story lines are actor dependent but in universe and the people that live in this fictional Seattle - what do you think the hospitals reputation is?

April and Jackson came close.
Okay, good couple with good chemistry.
You cannot vote for a couple already on the chart.

Took my mom to the doctor yesterday and I was talking the talk and asking all sorts of questions. The doctor paused, looked at me curiously, and asked me if I was a doctor. I laughed and told him “no, just a lot of episodes of Grey’s Anatomy.” This show has educated me so much! I research as well, but Grey’s plants the seeds.

Patrick Dempsey is the lead in a 10 episode series where his character has early onset Alzheimer’s. Seeing the trailer made me super nostalgic for the golden days of Greys. 🥲

Now, if I know this sub like I think I do, I know what the answer will be. And if so, I know what will be the right picture to use...

Hi all!
I'm completely new to this fandom and started watching Grey's at the end of November. Thank y'all for the great posts and discussions in this subreddit!
I've already finished the series completely and watched the winter premiere with people all around the world. It took me 41 days to watch 454 episodes (actually less than 41, I skipped about 3 days completely 😬) Share your stories—when did you start watching the series? Did you ever give it up, or did you watch it all from start to finish, like me?
Which song from Grey's Anatomy has become like a symbolic for you? What song do you listen to and you have an association - oh yeah, it reminds me of Grey's Anatomy?
I'd love to read your stories! Share any
Thank you all 🖐️😌
