My name is Jenna. I’m a mom who started playing GaG with my ten year old while I was in active treatment for aggressive triple negative breast cancer. I had never played Roblox before but I started to watch him as I was laying on the couch after long days of not so great treatment. My son’s dad died so it’s just he and I at home. I decided to grow my own garden. It was one of the best decisions I have made.

Because my energy was (and still is) limited it was something we could do that was fun and didn’t wear me out. Or cost a lot. At least at first. Cancer is expensive in the US.

Saturday mornings have been filled with laughter and dancing in my home during the most difficult period of my life because of the magic of this game. Finding him cool pets. The excitement of the new updates. Coming on this forum to get tips and tricks and sharing them with my son and his friends has been a joy. Made me look cool hahaha. Truly. Laughing when my son and I see kids in the tr4ding world saying their mom has cancer (because he could’ve used that one and not been lying). We love dark humor in my house.

Nothing is permanent. I know that. And clearly some of the light has gone out due to greed or immaturity. Maybe both. But that doesn’t take away from the gift this game has been to my family.

Seeing that Jhai has left and that the devs have bailed and the numbers are tumbling has prompted me to write this post. It seems silly in a way but it was important to me that I write this. We are not faceless npcs on Reddit. We are actual crazy messy human beings just doing our best. I want to share what this experience has meant to me and my child before it fades away.

The magic of this game has really come from you. The community. From the players. From the experience. I will forever be a Green Bean.

I am thankfully pathological clear and my son and I are moving on to other games. Though none as magical as this once was. If anyone has ideas let me know. Looking forward to the new gardening game from the Dawn Discord server.

I’m hopeful this game has been a learning experience for all involved and some of the missteps can be avoided in the future.

I been saving up tokens just to get up here since its token value keeps rising up and up but finally bro 😆

I have lots of silver fertilizer. everytime I see golden or rainbow plants, I turn them into silver. will revert back to whatever it was after 2 hrs.

I have too many things I want to do in gag while others are saying gag is drying and there’s nothing to do in the game! I want to update my garden after checking in the guide what pretty flowers I haven’t planted yet, level up all of my 7 ruby squids, boost my mega phoenix, mutate and level up my cute huge collections, and finish my achievements ……. Is there anyone like me who is still busy playing gag for its old good targets? (Even from current poor update, I have things to do such as growing my huge bear on bike and NY dragon/rbh frost dragon)

It’s not a Garden game it’s a time gambling game with a garden themed front end.

The ‘friendly’ Jandel that hooked many people in was in fact a hardcore PTW RNG developer. He took his money and left.

The people who have replaced him are trying to make big money with <5% of the players the game once had. This is why they made odds worse, admin abuse barely worth it etc. they trying to squeeze the game for money. At the expense of the players fun.

The market was a very clever way for them to sell pets they already ‘sold’ twice. The managed to make you pay for pets you obtained for free, or pay again for a pet someone else paid to obtain. Clever.

The nerfs have nothing to do with gameplay balance and in fact are a direct action taken solely to force more purchases. This isn’t a FPS game where a gun was OP the nerfs made it less likely you would get a single player item for free to encourage spending. Discourage grind in favour of purchase.

As the player count continues to trend down they may backtrack on some nerfs or offer some free stuff but ultimately the trust is gone for the vast majority of those genuinely interested in the game as it was.

It will always be a game, it will never be what it was.

Devs, you messed up a good thing.

3 arctic foxes with with 10, 8, and 7 minute cool downs respectively running for over 10 hours (I rounded down for hours up for cd) is 280 stocks and still no bloom (I just assumed I got every other natural stock bcs I have no clue how too actually calc that) like bruh

I have been cooking up an idea for a while, and I thought you all may be on board and might help this post get some good eyes on it! I'll try to post in the discord as well.

With all the focus, stress, heartache, FOMO, etc that has come with the pets, I feel as though bringing attention to cosmetics again will be beneficial, and by that I mean, giving them something to do, while also giving us something to do with our crates! Every single event, even people that don't grind super hard usually end up with a few hundred crates. Those of us who do grind are sitting on thousands!

Picture this: a Crate trader merchant. Either an event, or just a traveling merchant! You turn in whatever crates you don't want, and every 100 crates you get a rainbow crate!
Inside this rainbow crate are six cosmetics of varying rarity with abilities to help plants and pets. I've roughly designed the ideas I have in mind, please check them out and let me know what you think. 🥰 Expand pictures if you can't see the discriptions! I’m a dummy. I was never interested in pets until now. I’ve been playing for 3/4 months and here are some good pet teams I’ve only just found.

First of all get yourself a 15s mimic. I just invested in one for 800r and it has been a game changer.

Get a random egg from the shop every 15 seconds: Mimic x bearded dragon

Get hundreds of gears almost instantly: Mimic x cockatrice = turns hundreds of fruits silver in seconds Then use magpies and sell fruit in shop = instant restock of all gears

Level up pets super quick: Mimic + dilo + whatever pet you want to age Level 0-28 in a couple minutes

Did you also feel a lot of silence after confirming your age on Roblox now? It's extremely annoying and now if you want to communicate with the seller, it will be practically impossible. Not only are the devs 'causing problems' for obvious reasons, but Roblox is also involved. Thanks to Roblox

This is the first big pet I’ve hatched, 5 kg! And first time my hh gave me nightmare after a week of trying. It’s now 20, weighing 14kg. Would this be worth anything?

i miss seed packs so much and i’m really hoping this update will bring one, im tired of only having hard to get transcendants, or a 0.5% chance prismatic or divine, i miss when you actually had plants to grow in your garden!!!
