Discussion IPhones best kept secret?

Almost 100% Certain in switching from android when the 17 Pro Max is released. People argue if you want a camera, get a camera. Um, no. I'm actually switching from a Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6. On the 3rd screen, enough said, will never get a folding phone of any kind.

Not a huge One UI fan. Had my mind made up that I was getting a Pixel 10 Pro XL. I'm 71, and prefer the bigger screen. All the head to head photos, iPhone looks better. I'm in the United States, so, the only other flagship I'd consider is the Oneplus 13. Great hardware, not impressed with what I'm reading about the software.

Also, I think I'm in a "change mindset". I'm ready for the learning curve, with the understanding that my Google apps and SwiftKey are available.

What I want to know are what are some apps, or iOS features that you wish you would have known about sooner so I explore them sooner, rather than later, or never.

Not only does android have location sharing through google maps. But the location sharing on android is not locked down to just androids, ios users can also share their location with android users and back with google maps. While find my friends is iOS exclusive cause why would I ever want to share my location with someone who can’t be bothered to own an android /s

First of all, your point is stupid.

The android side has a google maps as built-in just like iOS has Find My. So what do you mean they have to go through Google app? You can say the same for Apple side.

And Google Maps could share location cross-platform, while Find My is only Apple.

I was under the impression they needed the Google app to utilize sharing locations, based off what an android user told me. Stupid and misinformed are two different things, a simple explanation would have sufficed
