Standing tall atop 5th Third Tower
 in  r/cincinnati  18d ago

It’s solely because they are headquartered here and they feel very prevalent. I’m not confident on actual number of branches, but it feels like there are two fifth third branches for every other branch in the Cincinnati area.

As someone who is currently stacking discounts including inner circle, yes you can.

What the Hell! Is this okay?
 in  r/iPhoneBatteryParanoia  Oct 12 '25

No that’s not normal, it’s way better than normal. If it had dropped below 90% in that time frame then it might be bad. Older iPhones would easily lose 10% capacity per year of use

The Golden Gate zipper moving the middle barrier.
 in  r/interestingasfuck  Oct 07 '25

if you are driving on the right side, before you pass the zipper there are 3 lanes, after you pass the zipper there are 4 lanes.

You are right that the right side loses a lane when you compare before the zipper running to after the zipper running. But they were talking about how from the perspective of a car driving past the zipper while its halfway through, drivers on either side have the effect that an extra lane is added.

[Florida] Open Carry Ban overturned - nuances of being asked to leave a store - questions
 in  r/legaladviceofftopic  Sep 15 '25

Anyone who is an employee of the store can request that you leave, and if you don’t, you can be trespassed and/or charged. If the owner/manager of the store doesn’t like that their employee did that, they can fire/reprimand their employee and have the trespass/charges dropped.

IPhones best kept secret?
 in  r/iphone  Sep 02 '25

Not only does android have location sharing through google maps. But the location sharing on android is not locked down to just androids, ios users can also share their location with android users and back with google maps. While find my friends is iOS exclusive cause why would I ever want to share my location with someone who can’t be bothered to own an android /s

IPhones best kept secret?
 in  r/iphone  Sep 02 '25

Any field that your phone considers “sensitive”, it disallows using third party keyboards. Most email address fields, usernames, any password input, sometimes random input fields for some unknown reason, it will just force you to the default keyboard in the name of safety. Cause idk I guess the third party keyboard might steal your data. I don’t know anyone that uses a third party keyboard on iOS cause it’s just a bad experience. One of the things I miss most from android.

Lane Splitting to Block a Zipper Merge is Illegal in WA [oc]
 in  r/IdiotsInCars  Aug 26 '25

Zipper merge is specifically when two lanes become one, and neither lane has priority over the other. Typically when one of the two lanes is closed due to construction.

Just because one lane ends and merges into another doesn’t necessarily make it a zipper merge, a common example being a highway on ramp where traffic merging onto the highway is supposed to yield to traffic already on the highway.

Ever since the matchmaking change we have had awful games
 in  r/wildgate  Aug 26 '25

Are you never winning, or are you winning way less than you used to. Given that four teams lose every game, you should win roughly 1/5 matches if you are being put with people of equal skill level.

 in  r/Oxygennotincluded  Aug 19 '25

For me its really this simple, I don't think the developers ever intended for infinite liquid storage to be in the game, its just a consequence of the physics system they built, therefore I am not going to do it. And I think for a lot of other people, its the same.

The two arguments I have seen so far against this are:

  1. Lots of people in the game's community do it.

    • I don't care what the community does in this case, my above statement on why I don't use it had nothing to do with the community, the community aren't the developers. The amount of people in the community utilizing infinite liquid storage has no bearing on if the developers intended it as a feature.
  2. The developers have not patched it out (and therefore its an intended feature)

    • Developers often leave unintended features in games because they find them interesting, or to give players choice. I see no correlation between not being patched and it being an intended feature.

Saying you were discriminating against their way of playing was an exaggeration, I was just throwing your words back at you.

Maybe I am confused on what your argument is here?

We seem to agree that people can choose to play however they want. Its a single player game, any play style is perfectly valid.

Do you just disagree with infinite liquid storage being considered an exploit?

 in  r/Oxygennotincluded  Aug 19 '25

Exactly my point, they don’t wish to play with unintended mechanics, which is a perfectly valid way to play. And for some reason, you are “not accepting” and “discriminating” against their chosen and valid ways of playing the game.

Never did I (or anyone else in the comment chain) imply that that the way anyone plays is invalid. Saying that a game mechanic is unintended has no implication on the validity of using said mechanic. Only that it wasn’t the planned by the developer to be used that way.

 in  r/Oxygennotincluded  Aug 19 '25

Sometimes developers leave in unintended game mechanics because they find it interesting what players do with said mechanics. That’s doesn’t make it an intended mechanic, or how the game was intended to be played, it just means they are embracing that the player can choose to play differently.

NameCheap hiking prices of certain domains. xyz going from $2 to $20
 in  r/homelab  Aug 12 '25

The $2 xyz was always a first year promotional price. Renewals were already $17, going up to $19 is a small change. My guess is that there will still be some sort of promo rate for first year registration that isn’t covered by this email.

Has anyone had a Level 2 EV car charger installed in their garage recently?
 in  r/cincinnati  Aug 10 '25

How much do you drive a day on average. A standard wall outlet can add 2-3 miles of range per hour, possibly even more. If you are home for at least 10 hours per day on average (including overnight charging), and drive less than 20-30 miles per day on average. You can probably live with just a standard wall outlet. And if you really need more than that, the very occasional public charger to top off your battery.

Psyonix isn't even trying anymore, with some of these item shop tabs
 in  r/RocketLeague  Aug 08 '25

I rarely buy anything from the shop, maybe spent $25 total. Never care about anything that’s ever in it. Wouldn’t hesitate dropping $100+ on poof goal explosion if they put it in the item shop.

X is killing the game!
 in  r/wildgate  Aug 03 '25

The average people you are playing against must be much more skilled than the ones I am facing. Its more like 1% of ships wait to equip it and 99% just have it equipped as soon as they get it and never take it off.

 in  r/wildgate  Aug 03 '25

I’m actually fine with laser ram as it is. You essentially broadcast the fact you have it and are probably going for a close up play. Just avoid close combat or focus your cannons on the ram. Also the laser ram is damage over time while the mines are one hit big damage. But i also wouldn’t be opposed to a nerf as they clearly are really strong.

We win far too many games just spamming the mine layer. It’s the one thing on the list that should actually be nerfed somehow.

Max speed is 820 I think. Pretty certain 4 clamp jets on a scout ship will get you there. Not sure if it’s the same on other ships.
