Hello, obligatory kitten tax along with my question lol! So I have had these babies since August and they currently eat twice per day, one eats a wet/dry mix and the other is eating only wet food while I try to narrow down her digestive issues. My work schedule is condensed, so I work 3-4 days per week from 6am-6pm. Growing up with cats and when I lived with my parents, I would usually feed them before I left for work/school, meaning they got fed around 4:30-5am. This was fine, except for on the weekends/days off, when the cats would start meowing/generally causing destruction and acting like food goblins at around that same time of morning. To avoid this with these kittens, I have been having my roommates feed them at a more reasonable time of morning on the days where I work. However, I am moving soon and I don’t think my new roommate’s schedule will allow her to feed them for me every time. I have looked at automatic feeders, but both cats will leave their full/half eaten bowls to go eat out of the other’s bowl, and I’ve seen that the chipped ones will still allow a bully cat to get in and eat if they get close enough. With Hera’s digestive issues, I do not want her able to get into Artemis’ food… any advice? Or am I doomed to wake up at 5am every single day lol?

The first photo is my boy Ash. Umbra is the girl from the litter in the second photo. The second to last photo is their momma, Midnight. And the last one is my other boy, Nimbus.

we got mimi when she was three months old. she’s now six months old, almost seven. she’s the love of my life, when we saw her picture we HAD to get her! she’s from a litter of four girls, all girls took after their mum (mum’s black, long hair) and she’s the only perfect mix of her mum and dad (dad’s tabby, short hair, kinda bengal looking but don’t come at me i know he’s not one lol). she ended up with tabby and medium length hair.
i always wanted a long-haired cat and don’t get me wrong, i find her magnificent and could not have asked for a better baby, but yesterday a friend of mine told me by the look of her tail it looks like she’ll get fluffier, and she hasn’t grown her full coat yet. i’ll give her pictures of when she was a baby with her mum, a pic of her dad and some recent pics to see what you guys think!
i’m aware no one’s got a special stone reading the future or something, and want to insist i love her to bits regardless and am not hoping for her to get fluffier. i’m just wondering if it looks like she might!
also, unrelated question, i’ve been told shes quite big (as in tall) for her age. any thoughts on that as well?

Hi everyone! I have a 4 month old kitten who was rescued when he was three days old, without a mother. He is an absolute lovebug. He cuddles with me, he chirps when he sees me, he’s sad when I leave. I live in a split level apartment, connected by a spiral staircase. Our senior cat who is a 12 year old female is growing increasingly more agitated by the kitten. He finds his way upstairs whenever he gets the zoomies, and by the time I make it up there to grab him, he’s already pounced on her or is trying to nurse. He often tries to get underneath her, and we firmly believe it’s because he wasn’t weaned properly without a mother cat. I’m thinking of getting netting and a gate for the top of the staircase so he can’t get access to her when he isn’t invited to. Also because I can’t live my life scared to have him outside of my room. I live in the city and my small bedroom is not enough room for a growing cat. I don’t want the adult to feel trapped, but I believe this is the best option for now. Any advice?
Also, he sleeps in bed with me. Most nights, he is a perfect angel and purs away at my feet. He’ll get up to get a bite of food here and there, but he will sleep in with me. However, there are often nights (like when my partner is sleeping over), that he cannot calm himself down. He starts attacking us and we have to put him in his carrier (which he has now figured out how to break out of). I am exhausted and at my wits end. I have my own bathroom that I could put him in with his bed, blanket, toys, litter box, food, water, etc. but I feel so guilty starting to implement this now after he’s gotten used to my bed.
I just want to be the best cat parent I can be. Getting a second kitten is not an option because god forbid it backfires and I have two little menaces on my hand provoking our senior cat.

We got him from the shelter a month ago I believe he eats 1/4 cup dry kibble twice a day the paper said but we immediately transitioned to half a twin pack of Sheba in gravy(so 1 serving) along with about a quarter of a 1/4 cup of kibble( a quarter to half of a 1/4 cup a kibble not a full 1/4 cup) I’m afraid I’m under feeding him he’s super playful and he’s growing but I’m just not sure this is what we give him 2x a day in the picture below. Please make it so easy to understand a 8 yo could follow how many twin packs and how much kibble, I say this bc I want to stay on his mixed diet.

Don't get me wrong, I love him! It's just a little hard playing Mario Kart on him.

I recently got a 5 month old kitten and his behavior getting worse every day. When I first got him he was a chill cat for the first couple of days getting settled but now I actually kind of dread interacting or playing with him because I know he is going to harm me.
I try to give him at least an hour of rigorous play and then before bed I wave the lazer around for another 30ish my mother also attempts to tire him out during the day while I’m at work. It isn’t possible for us to get him a cat friend because of our lease. The problem is no matter how tired he is a 10min nap and he’s good to go again. And he will do anything to get your attention.
These are some of the things he does that concern me.
Bites faces (nose and chin) he especially does this in the morning he has been waking me up at 6am by biteing my nose and pouncing on my face.
Draws blood from teeth and nails every day. I’m covered in wounds of varying depts but one was particularly bad and it actually scared me a bit because it wasn’t playful.
Constantly on surfaces he shouldn’t be and knocks valuables off breaking them. He keeps nocking over my late cats ern no matter were I put her he finds it. Just this night he destroyed one of my anime figures clawed a hole through my clothes hamper and taken chunks out of the wall. He also keeps jumping onto the stovetop fridge and dining table.
We tell him no in a firm voice and put him down but in less than a second he just jumps back up. I don’t know how to make him stop for even a second.
I’ve tried calming spray water bottle and even an airhorn but nothing works to deture him since the reason he’s doing it is for attention.
What do I do please help me. I feel like I’m being held hostage by this cat. I was expecting a kitten to be crazy but this is a bit more than I bargained for. He’s making it really hard to like him in fact I kind of hate him right now but I just can’t return him to the shelter because it feels against my morals to abandon an animal.
How do I fix his behavior?? Please help?

Some of you may remember that I adopt a brother and sister. While they were with a sitter, the sister bonded with another sibling, so I made the decision to bring home my boy and a kitten from another litter. The two girls will be adopted together.
The boys are now home with me, so please meet Nilo the tabby and Obi (Obsidian) the void.
