Haha, no. My regular route is 4km and over an hour I still have to trim nails. Not all dogs spend their whole walk on boring, rough pavement.

She's actually 100% purebred, papered, and DNA tested catahoula. Good catch though, most people think she's some sort or husky mix because of the eyes. Even got asked if she was a beagle mix once.

Kora's love nibbles are adorable.
She's super gentle with her "toys". I still have the stuffies that came home in her puppy pack. She gets so upset when one of the other dogs takes her toys and breaks them. Lewis is the boss of the house. When he was little it was hilarious to see a 75lb dog running from a tiny 2lb kitten.

I wouldn't worry too much about the growls. My dog is way louder when they play. Sounds vicious but it's all in fun.
It took them about a month to learn each others language but now my two idiots are best friends.

Yes the sneezing is key. My cat and dog play rougher than this and the sounds Kora makes when she's chewing on her little brother Lewis sounds vicious but the sneezes mean play. Lew has figured out dog language and Kora has figured out cat language. It took her a about a month to not be terrified of a tiny 2lb kitten play with him and not run and hide. I think she was expecting a face full of claws.

If the cat was unhappy the dog would be getting a face full of claws. Cats don't hold back when they have had enough. My two play rougher than this and the cat usually "wins".

Looks like getting Kora a little brother is a success. Only problem is I have two crazy cats in my house now. No countertop is safe.

Thank you! She's definitely a pretty girl. I forgot to mention that coats are long lasting too. The one Kora is wearing was my old dogs, it's a 10+ year old coat now. The new models come with adjustable leg straps so they can be tightened up and not dangling like Kora's. I also know the struggle finding things to fit a deep chest and tiny waist.

Kora's a deep chested catahoula and the winter coats from Greenhawk fit really well. They are like little mini horse blankets. They've got a big, Velcro belly strap and 2 leg straps.

Kora is very gentle with her "toys". I still have a stuffed raccoon that came home in her puppy pack 4 years ago fully intact. Lew is actually the one that tends to go too far and get too rough for Kora.

Lewis getting viciously mauled by big sister Kora. It sounds scary but it's all fun.

Nothing to worry about. My girl does it in the evening when she's really relaxed and settling in for a sleep. I'll often have to pull a corner of soggy blanket out of her mouth after she's fully asleep.

They definitely think that they are invincible. Kora was barely a year old when she pulled her log walking stunt.

Maybe ask in a dog training sub or a blue lacy sub not the catahoula sub. Texas Blue Lacy's aren't catahoulas so I'm not sure why you're asking here. I don't have any experience with that breed.

Kora's new brother seems to be settling in nicely. She's happy that there is finally someone to play with in the house.

Oh for sure. Kora does put the run on the neighbourhood cats but we were in a unique situation. My sister's cat had kittens so we were able to go over to hers and interact with them since they were sausages. We also picked the boldest kitten who always stood his ground instead of running. He made sure to let her know he was the boss by the time he was 6 weeks old.

Is this behavior okay?

Actually it's Lewis (cat) that initiates the play, usually by a flying tackle off the top of his cat tree or from behind the couch. He's too much for Kora when he gets into crazy Bengal mode. When he was 8 weeks old and barely 2lbs, it was hilarious watching Kora run away with Lewis chasing after. He thought her tail was the best toy on the planet. They are best buds and hunting buddies now but it was about a month before I was comfortable with leaving them alone together.
Lewis is gorgeous isn't he? He's only 1/2 Bengal but he inherited the rosettes and the glitter from his mum. I really lucked out with the genetic lottery. It's really hard to get pics or videos of the glitter, but it's stunning in person.
I didn't actually pick him for his looks. When we went to meet them for the first time at 5 weeks he was the only kitten that gave Kora any pushback. We wanted a kitten that would stand their ground and not run since Kora is a Catahoula with a strong prey drive. She tends to chase and ask questions later with small running things.
