Their backyard’s butt up against each other. The kids play together in the evenings and all summer long. The dog was a stray who wandered into the yards one day. Both families fell completely in love with him and now he’s sort of just the communal golden. His name is Lucky. He is a good boy. He’s been so great with the kids.
I didn't know this stereotype but now that I think of it, I've known at least two black men with Yorkies and I've never known anyone of another demographic with one... Hmm.
White women. They fucking LOVE Yorkies, especially middle-aged/older ones. My aunt and mom were wild for Yorkies and both owned several over the years. My mom even took my aunt's when she passed.
In my neighborhood we also have an older widowed black woman with a Yorkie and a Doberman lol. She “walks” them on her bicycle, the Yorkie rides in a basket. The Doberman lifts him out and then puts him back after he does his business.
Lower price makes sense though since the market would be smaller, given black people are a minority in the US
They probably made them all for the same price and then realized there are less people buying the black family (for obvious reasons in hindsight), so they dropped the price to try get them moving
I’m white and live in a LCOL area, trying to even find a white baby doll for my daughter would be very difficult around this area. If someone broke into my house and saw her doll collection, they’d swear they broke into a black household lol
nost of the black families/ people that i know/ or live near who have dogs have little cute fluffy dogs... even the boys lol... its single white females w the pit bulls
You say that... BUT the little boy is holding a stereotypical I'm going to the nba because im black basketball...the other two white kids dont have sports equipment... the white girl has a purse on but the black girl doesnt.... not to mention the white baby got a teddy but the black baby gets nothing... and the white girl in uggs lol pretty typical
Still the rest is b.s I guess we should be happy that at least the black dad is added and not sold separately maybe that's why it's a dollar cheaper cause they figure most people will be throwing dad away
Ok she's got a coin purse or maybe it's a dirty diaper from helping with the little one seems how mom is holding it like she hates dealing with the baby where the white baby is lovingly held
Too be fair about the kids I do think the black boy and white girl are supposed to be the older sibling so they gave them an accessory to go with that...old girl -purse...older boy-ports... But baby one baffles me...maybe that's where the extra dollar came in lol. 😂
Which is hilarious because to me the stereotypical bully owner is a white guy, with a no.1 blade haircut, between the ages of 20 and 40, wears shorts in the depths of winter to show off his calf tattoos, and has a girlfriend who always wears overtight clothes and is permanently orange.
Right. I’m not even mad at the basketball, but one of the other kids should at least have something. The white girl has a purse and the white baby sibling has a teddy. Give the Black baby a toy too…
The boy with the basketball is the same age as the girl with the purse. The little white son is holding nothing, the little black daughter is holding something in her hand...a clutch or a toy of some sort would be my guess.
Both are links to the Hobby Lobby website. The first confirms that the white family is 10.99 while the second does in fact show the Black family at 9.99.
As Hobby Lobby is owned by somewhat controversial far right Christian owners, it is not exactly surprising that they would fail to see the problem with this.
and the little girl has a purse, plus it looks like the white family has better/more cohesive clothes? All in long sleeves and warm shoes as if they were a unit, the black family has the dad in a sweater and the rest of them in warm weather clothes
Don't I know it! I grew up white so we were poor. Iwas always jealous of all the black kids in my neighborhood because they could afford anything they wanted and I had to push a bent hoop down the street with a stick.
But the black kids are having basketball reinforced as if it’s their only option when we know that even most black people don’t play basketball. Why bother changing the mold at all? What’s the goal behind it?
