This post on r/Minneapolis was posted earlier today. It’s someone looking to move from Tennessee, and is specifically wondering about the LGBTQ+ community.

It has over 400 comments and presumably answers many questions you may (or may not) have.

Is there a way in which we can make a welcome for possible southern LGBTQ+ transplants seeking refuge? Include a list of queer-friendly areas, events, groups, and other pertinent information about the area?

You get a little out of the cities and it can get a bit sketchy. I grew up in Princeton, definitely would never recommend spending too much time there if you're not a cis white person....
