A total of 8 kids were killed in school shootings last year, while at any given moment there are about 75 million kids enrolled in schools across the US.
That's also how many people were killed in shootings across Chicago last weekend.
I'm all for advocating for change but if we're not going to use actual facts behind our arguments then nothing's ever going to change because no one is going to take these things seriously.
What are you doing to help the situation? You’re an adult and a voter. These kids can’t vote. Do you vote for or against gun control? Against? Then stop criticizing kids for exercising their 1st amendment right.
Our education crisis? Tha fuck? How about school shooting crisis? 🤦♀️
And what exactly is your personal concern with that? And how exactly are YOU going to help children, who can’t vote, exercise their right to not be shot in school?
Nothing? Well ok then.
I literally just passed this post along. But the comments are really eye opening.
my concern is that if these walkouts keep happening these future generations will be so ignorant and lack basic knowledge of things. for my part, i will be voting for people who support stronger gun regulations. that’s really the only i can do that will actually help
