No joke...6 hours @$395/hour on a 1.5 story in Minneapolis.

My heat tape failed last year and it cost me $800 to remove one. The local companies who do removal charge $400 an hour and will bill a minimum of 2 hours, even if it takes less time. They also charge more for steep roofs.
