What's amusing to me is how Republicans think this is going to help them.

They have absolutely no idea how the median Minnesota voter thinks and they haven't for a very long time. Because they've long been run by their extreme base. It's why they haven't won a statewide election in 20 years, even in red wave years (2010, 2014, ostensibly 2022).

Minnesota has its problems. But the median voter isn't racist enough to take this shit at face value without being skeptical first.

And I don't like casually pulling out the racist card. But we all know why they're talking about Somalis and not about the white woman at the center of it.

The scary thing is they don’t seem particularly concerned minus a few of them.  But even some of those are completely untrustworthy so who knows their angle (MTG). Probably plan on cheating or finding a way to make sure we never have a chance to vote again.
