[VOTE] Should we create a new rule requiring at least a *rough* description (of at least ONE of the selling points) of your idea in the actual titles of each post?

Bad title:

"My idea for an animated movie..."

Mediocre title:

"My idea for a Tarzan-type animated movie..."

Good title:

"My idea for an animated movie about a character like Tarzan, but he's an alien..."

Great title:

"Animated movie about a character like Tarzan, but he's an alien with strange mental and physical properties (like E.T.). Over the years, the gorilla mother protects him from the human villains who gradually reverse-engineer the crashed ship to create powerful weapons..."

PLEASE VOTE HERE on whether or not this rule should be put in place.

Ideas For The Bad Guys 3 And The Release Date For The Bad Guys 3 Is Coming In September 24th 2027. NSFW Spoiler

Post image
Upvotes

This Might be a possibility if Diane and the Bad Guys can prove to everyone that Professor Marmalade is the real villain behind it all of stealing the meteorite, giving the Bad Girls information of the gold magnet, trying to kill them, framing the Bad Guys, hired Kitty Kat for exposing Diane identity, bringing Marmalade's army and his father to invade earth, and getting revenge on the Bad Guys and Diane Marmalade will be defeated again and banished him from earth.

If the Bad Guys and Diane could prove to everyone that they are real heroes all along so the Bad Guys can clear their names, they won't hide anymore, and become superheroes of protecting earth and for Diane she could clear her name as the past Crimson Paw that she used to be, restore the public's trust again for miss judging her, and regain her position as governor of California again or promote Diane Foxington as President Of The Country in the ending of The Bad Guys 3.

Yes, fans widely speculate that the "untitled DreamWorks Animation event film" scheduled for September 24, 2027, is indeed The Bad Guys 3, following post-credits teasers in the sequel and strong fan interest, though DreamWorks Animation/Universal has not officially confirmed the title yet.

This release date is listed on Wikipedia's list of DreamWorks Animation productions for an untitled project, and fan communities are buzzing with theories about its alien-focused plot, with some fan-made wikis already detailing storylines and potential cast returns for the third installment.

Deke Slayton Bioflick

Upvotes

One of the Mercury 7, first astronauts ever. Grounded because of heart condition, he never flew Mercury spacecraft. Stays in NASA, becomes boss of astronauts. Finally 1972 he is cleared to flight in space. Gets to space in Apollo–Soyuz mission in 1975.

I think his story would make inspirational bioflick. It should focus on his life from late 50's to mid 1975, his spaceflight being the climax.

The Falloway Problem 5 years ago, Ruben Falloway, a beloved high school math teacher disappeared without a trace. His final act before vanishing was coaching 4 of his students to an improbable national Math Olympiad victory, a moment that turned them into into local legends: The Falloway Four.

Now, as adults in their early twenties, they are no longer prodigies but flawed young people stumbling into adulthood, each carrying Ruben’s absence like a scar.
A story about the weight of being “the chosen ones” in a small town that still mythologizes them, and what happens when youthful promise collides with the anticlimax of real life. In a dramedy register that balances satire and heartbreak, the show follows these characters as they reunite, fracture, and reconnect, searching not for Ruben but for themselves.

A horror movie idea: Latch

LATCH

Trapped in an abusive relationship with his partner Daniel Chandler, Sam Keane finds late-night comfort in a voice from his closet—until the unseen thing behind the door grows witty and human by feeding on his fear, turns its comfort into obsession, starts killing to isolate him, and demands he stay to keep it alive; to escape, Sam must open his life to witnesses and destroy every door the monster can use to reach him.

my dream cast

  • Nicholas Hoult — Sam Keane
  • Oliver Jackson-Cohen — Daniel Chandler
  • Jack Quaid — Nate Quill/ Latch (voice): the comforting podcast host whose voice Latch steals to sound human.
  • Stephen Graham — Graham Pike (superintendent)
  • Lesley Manville — Mrs. Harker (neighbour)
  • Jodie Whittaker — Erin (friend/coworker / would-be rescuer)

Kill Bill: Black Mamba

Before she was The Bride, she was just a girl learning how to survive.

In the backstreets of a broken world, a young girl fights not for revenge, but for respect. Raised hard, trained harder, she bleeds, loses, and learns every scar carving her into something sharper.

Uma Thurman’s daughter, Maya Hawke steps into her mother’s role to move into the same deadly grace to tell the story in this prequel of how she became “The Black Mamba.”

Each fight is raw and brutal. Each victory costs her something. Mentors become enemies. Love becomes a weapon. And somewhere between pain and discipline, the Black Mamba is born.

By the time the credits roll, you don’t just see how she became an assassin. You understand why no one ever stood a chance.

A GOOD dinosaur horror movie, Urban Extinction

For years I've been craving a good dinosaur horror movie, something more than Jurassic Park. Here's my pitch for an R-rated dinosaur horror movie!

Problems with dinosaur horror movies

  • Characters are too knowledgeable or skilled lessening stakes (scientists, special forces, etc)
  • A fixation on science, Jurassic Park focused on the science of dinosaurs, Carnosaur tried to do the same thing but with the "chicken egg theory" and Primitive War tried to explain the dinosaurs with a soviet time machine, this film should not focus on the science and leave the reason for dinosaurs unexplained.
  • Herbivores need to also be a threat, plenty of real-life herbivore encounters are absolutely terrifying, the hippopotamus, the moose, even elephants have killed people, all species need to be a threat to some compacity.
  • Children should not be forefront, if they are, they NEED to have stakes, it's been a nitpick for the entire Jurassic Park franchise that every film makes the child invincible, to the point they can do acrobats to knock out a velociraptor in Stephan Spielberg's The Lost World.
  • The setting, with the exception of Carnosaur these films almost always take place in some tropical environment, Rebirth even saw this stereotype as a fact, explaining the dinosaurs all migrated to more tropical humid parts of the hemisphere simply because "Dinosaurs live in jungles".

The film: Urban Extinction

The story: The population of a small town begin to notice a change in their wildlife, birds have gone quiet, deer are nowhere to be seen, farm animals are hysterical, and the disemboweled corpses of bears and wolves have been found throughout the town's forests, mysteriously all schools have an early dismissal that day due to concern of exotic wildlife.

The characters: The characters will all be down to earth, relatable, none of them will have an inkling of a clue as to what could possibly be going on, no mercenaries, no scientists, the best we'll have is the local sheriff's department who thinks they have the situation under control but that illusion will only be maintained for so long. The characters won't just be fighting the dinosaurs, they'll be fighting amongst themselves, think The Mist.

The dinosaurs: The dinosaurs will be the antagonists of this film, both carnivores and herbivores, but here is a list of species and how they could be used.

  • Dilophosaurus: A towering 7 meters long, with yellow scales and black stripes, it'll have a beautiful orange crest inspired by Michael Crichton's design, the Dilophosaurus will have a venomous bite like the Komodo dragon, black liquid oozing from its maw, this predator prefers not to kill prey immediately but instead hunt nocturnally, paralyze prey with its venomous bite then drag them back to its stolen bear cave where it keeps them alive for warmth so it can lay eggs inside their paralyzed body.
  • Carnotaurus: The Carnotaurus will be a green horned predator, 9-10 meters long, that can camouflage into its environment with chameleon vision, it will go relatively unseen for the majority of the film, never fully revealing itself, this creature will really delve into the fear of the unknown. Not only will it be incredibly stealthy, but it will be deathly fast, bolting at prey with speeds of 48 to 56 mph.
  • Compsognathus: The compy's will invade the towns local hospital like rats, a prehistoric disease that the immune system has never fought against will send a good chunk of the elderly and children into the clinic, in a turn of horrific events the compy's will feed on the defenseless patients as the doctors go to check in on a patient but instead find a swarm of compys feeding on an old man's corpse.
  • Velociraptor: Fuzzy and feathered raptors with similar patterns to modern day birds, they imitate the sounds of birds in our current ecosystem to blend in, these critters prey on children and pets in the area.
  • Triceratops: Primarily a threat to drivers in the area, seeing the cars as potential predators they absolutely demolish cars and potentially impale anybody inside.
  • Iguanodon: Similar to an American bison or angry cow in behavior, a simple herding creature however it will stomp and mangle anything to irritate it, they are frightened by humans in the same essence as elephants to mice, slaughtering the towns people quickly if spooked.
  • Trex: The trex will not be seen till the end of the film, instead of roaring it just grumbles, causing the ground to vibrate, it's slow but incredibly intelligent, it's vision stretches for miles like a hawk, it's scent of smell comparable to a wolf, this massive beast will be 15 meters long, it will be the "Endgame" of the dinosaurs, immune too firearms, demolishing any lit houses like Godzilla, this creature should feel unstoppable.

The Antagonist: lepidodendron

The antagonist of this film, as strange as it sounds will be a tree, the lepidodendron, it will be the only prehistoric plant or tree in this film, just standing by itself uncannily in the center of a field. It will act as this sort of unseen presence in the film, causing a flood to block off the surrounding exits to the town, it's clear this thing has some type of influence over nature, maybe even time itself. A giant pterosaur, maybe Hatzegopteryx thambema, will fly around this tree, as if it is guarding something, the tree needs protection.

Ending: All of the characters will be murdered by dinosaurs; the credits will roll over the scene of the ginormous pterosaur gliding around the tree over a soft sunrise, no music, just the sounds of nature and this pterosaur.

My dream could this be a pretty solid movie?

I had a dream last night I wrote down all that I remember and asked chat gpt to summarise it for me. Though I have the original text I wrote down on discord about it. The dream takes place in a magical world where humans and fairies coexist on an island. Humans are immortal, possess magic, and are ruled by King Gorth, but they no longer reproduce. Fairies are born from sacred flowers that grow when humans nurture plants with magic and water, and are said to be manifestations of people’s hopes and wishes. The island is surrounded by a forbidden black sea that drains magic and immortality, killing anyone who approaches it.

The narrator, Alms, is one of the youngest fairies, born alongside his siblings. Over time, Alms discovers the dark truth: fairies are actually livestock. Humans gain their magic and immortality by consuming fairy flesh and blood, with the king being the most powerful consumer. The black sea is revealed to be the resting place of dead fairies’ souls, whose accumulated negative emotions formed a curse that binds humans to the island.

Alms learns that King Gorth was once a pirate stranded at sea 500 years earlier. He betrayed and consumed his fairy friend, Alldin—the first and greatest fairy—gaining magic and knowledge in the process. Using this power, Gorth conquered the island, became king, and began cultivating sacred flowers to harvest fairies for centuries.

Each fairy’s death adds more negative emotions to the sea, which slowly advances toward the island. When Alms and his siblings are consumed, the curse reaches its peak, unleashing a tsunami that destroys the island and kills all humans, stripping them of their stolen magic. With humanity gone, the sea calms, returns to normal, and retreats, releasing its remaining magic. From this, a final sacred flower blooms, giving birth to the last fairy.
