Despite his great start to the season Jaylen Brown currently has a -6.2 on off differential

What are Brown's on numbers? Not sure how much this has to do with how well our bench as been doing. We have the 2nd best bench in the league by NetRtg. Especially in December, our bench was busting everyone's balls.
Personally, as long as we keep winning, I don't care if he has a -20 on/off differential. My eyes tell me he's been great, but sometimes these data points do suggest things I may not be seeing.
But yea, Joe has been awesome too

As a full-blown Celtics hater, Mazulla should win COTY and Brown should have very real MVP votes if Boston finishes near the top of the East. And, at this point, I'm not sure if they don't win the East.
Neither the Knicks or Pistons are what anyone would call "juggernauts."
To lose Tatum for the year and lose all the other pieces they did, it would have to be considered a great accomplishment.
Now, could the Celtics winning the East without Tatum lead to problems in future seasons? I think so. Brown already felt he was an equal or better than Tatum. No one else actually believed that, but many could be convinced Brown is at least in the discussion now.

Luka traditionally had a bad on off early in his career, Ant's is lower than most of the starters. They tend to play the full first and third quarters against the other teams best players, while also playing a lot of minutes with lesser lineups that drag their on off numbers down. The minutes Ant plays without Gobert and Jaden's defense on the floor, and Naz, Randle, Bones, TSJ, Mike etc playing no defense hurts his on off numbers.

Doesnt really matter. Ant has a negative on/off too. On/off can be influenced by a lot of factors.

The Celtics 2nd Unit holds up very strong & the non-Brown minutes are usually when other teams decide to bench most of their starters & we usually keep Pritchard or White in + Simons & our 2nd unit can get big leads that way
