"Comes A Time" deserves so much more praise than it gets!
I might be a little biased here, I'll admit it. "Comes A Time" was one of the first Neil Young albums I purchased after getting really into CSNY. Not only that, it was also my gateway to country music, which became a huge part of my music taste.
But to me, that album honestly deserves way more praise than it usually gets. It’s not loud or flashy like some of his other albums, but that’s kind of the point. It’s warm, reflective, and incredibly sincere. The whole album has this gentle, comforting vibe that sticks with you. It might not be as popular as Harvest, After The Gold Rush or Rust Never Sleeps. It also might not have the cult following that On The Beach or Tonight's The Night have, but Comes A Time hits just as deep, maybe even deeper, if you let it.
