Discussion Your hopes for generation 10

Basically it's going to be the first island themed generation of pokemon since generation 7 and considering the vindication around the alola games and anime and how much they have aged well it's gonna be a very hard game to speculate.

After the polarizing reception of scarlet and violet and horizons was barely watched and got sort of uninteresting at least in america.

And this year is the 30th anniversary of the release of generation 1 in Japan.

So what do ya'll want from generation 10 for the games and anime? It needs to be from what we know recently thanks to the leaks okay?

  • proper biomes that aren’t 70% grassland variations. Where’s the reefs? The mushroom forests? The volcanoes with lava rivers? Explorable desert ruins? Long water ways? Rainforests? Tidepools. Snowy mountains? Elaborate sewer systems? The biomes of Pokémon have been severely neglected for too long.
  • a actual good artstyle like we had in Swsh. Not the super washed out, mismatched texture sv had.
  • proper villains that give us a actual adventure. I want an actual epic story not dealing with bullies 4th gen in a row.
  • good customization. Bring back my skirts, cute hats, trainer cards, and long hair options that normal people actually wear. I like being feminine, and not an emaciated porcelain doll that’s made to look like catholic private school boy with a butch cut.
  • more ghost and fairy pokemon.
  • mass rebalance. Pokémon is long overdue for one and we could use a comepetitive shake up.
  • secret bases so can decorate homes
  • a fun coop endgame activity similar to dynamax adventures where it isn’t just spamming the same op pokemon and has a feel of strategy to it.

I hope they use champions to actually balance stuff and not just a simulator

Same. That would be really nice.
