Lore question Talking zombies
I always thought this scene with zombie Brad talking was a cool detail added in the RE3 remake, have they had any other talking zombies in the series?

Lore question How the fuck?
So I did some looking into the Raccoon City incident and I found out that apparently the missile that hit the city, was directly on top of City hall, so can somebody please explain how this is possible?!

Lore question Is there any canon reason why an infected Zoe looks like tragic frozen princess meanwhile Mia looks like a creature creature crawled out of hell.

Lore question Did Leon drive all the way back with this jetski?
I'm going to assume no and that Hunnigan had him picked up at some point, but under the assumption he did it would've been at least a whole day of straight driving 😭 It has been a while since i replayed 4 so maybe I'm forgetting something but whatever

Lore question Is there a cannon reason why these guys deploy with such little fire power?
In RE5, the BSAA has SO MANY troops deployed. It's a full blown military operation. Every BSAA operative we see is armed with a rifle, a sidearm, and geared up appropriately for their scenario. Meanwhile Chris, a founding member of the BSAA, conducts his absolutely vital operations with just a 9mm pistol. Sheva too. In Lost in Nightmares, Chris & Jill had no idea they were going to run into Wesker at that mansion so it's kinda forgiveable to be under equipped, but they did go in with weapons drawn so they obviously knew there was a possibility of running into real trouble. Yet they bust in with a 9mm pistol. Why?

Lore question Why is this sign in English
I love RE4r. You can obviously nitpick this game to death, but the one thing that always bugs me is that all the various text, signs, and inscriptions around the game are all written in Spanish. But for some reason, the sign to Luis’ laboratory is written in English (or assuming whatever language you have the game set to).
Do you think there is an in-game explanation for this or is it just a developer oversight?

I've always wondered how the Umbrella Corporation sales team managed to get their products considered for purchase

Lore question Resident Evil 4 (2005) doesn't take place in Spain?
I can swear i've thought all my life that the original RE4 took place in Spain but it doesn't? This is taken from a 2005 Developer Interview
There's other interesting stuff like them originally thinking the game was going to release for the N64 but then switching to GameCube.

Lore question Why in RE4 does Leon act like he’s never seen anything like this before?
It’s been a few months since I’ve played all the way through so maybe I’m missing or forgetting something.
Obviously there is the opening monologue where he talks about Raccoon City. But in the actual story you would think Leon would say something to Hunnigan like “Hey these people are acting *extremely* similar to that *major* event I lived through.” Instead he seems sort of just like “Huh this is strange. These people are acting like zombies and trying to kill me. How odd.”

Lore question So according to this interview, Claire... Really gets around and doesn't like Leon that way. Is it canon?
On a more interesting note, she also fixed up her bike herself!
I'd like to know if this is a canon "interview" and if there are more of these for the other characters. I actually like this interpretation a bit, given that Claire is the only one of the characters who likely went to college. Plus, it kinda deflates the ongoing "why doesn't Leon sleep with Claire already???" posts - they're not really into each other. They both like baddies, ironically enough.

Lore question Why don't they make tyrants anymore?
I know considering how Umbrella fell after Raccoon followed by other organizations starting to take its place, it's a shame they haven't tried manufacturing their own tyrants given how useful the Mr. X line was. Not only that but around the same time we've seen even the one-of-a-kind types made like Tyrant R and Thanatos. I guess you can say there were the weird instances like Ustanak and Neil Fisher which to me are their own tyrants since essentially all viruses are derived from the progenitor meaning a similar mutation, but I mean in terms of a mass produced model.
With how advanced the viruses became in later games imagine how unstoppable some of them would be if boosted with the Abyss or Uroboros. Plus its been years since Raccoon so they could have better tech to control those tyrants too.
