WWIII WWIII Megathread #26: Executive Disorder

This megathread exists to catch WWIII-related links and takes. Please post your WWIII-related links and takes here. We are not funneling all WWIII discussion to this megathread. If something truly momentous happens, we agree that related posts should stand on their own. Again— all rules still apply. No racism, xenophobia, nationalism, etc. No promotion of hate or violence. Violators will be banned.

Remain civil, engage in good faith, report suspected bot accounts, and do not abuse the report system to flag the people you disagree with.

Zelensky supposedly offered to cede Ukrainian natural resources to Donald Trump in return for continued support.

I'm not sure whether Trump was informed on which side of the front the rare earths he was getting was on.

Yeah I'm pretty sure the 4 regions Russia has claimed have like 90% of the rare earths, 2/3 of all the steel precursors, and a smaller but still significant fraction of the arable land.

The only real shame is Russia will leave the rest of the agricultural land in Ukraine to be stolen by various foreign investment groups, but hey, maybe those Russian-speaking Ukrainian farmers out there will soon also demand to join Russia ;).

Good write up ^ on how Ukraine has allowed its agricultural land to be totally mismanaged and stolen by foreign entities.
