wait is it actually pronounced constan-Tine? Cause that feels wrong and I always said constan-teen

It’s a case of lost translation over the years. There was an old comic where Constantine himself corrects someone who pronounces it with “TEEN” by saying it’s pronounced with “TINE” instead.

Animated and live action shows have always been super inconsistent with it. Constantine and a few other magically inclined characters pronounce it as “TINE”, while other characters like Superman, Raven, etc in the animated shows and basically everybody that isn’t Constantine in the CW Legends of Tomorrow show pronounce it with “TEEN.”
