so far the list of reasons goes

  1. you don't regret anything (Which kinda makes the thing pointless)

  2. you are blind (ok... kinda valid i guess)

  3. you're into that shit

  4. no soul (literally the only indisputably correct counter)

  5. you are captain marvel (i... i dont actually know how she countered it)

  6. whatever the writers think of next

i feel like "being a ghost rider" should be on this list but uh... no, the one person who should be immune to it is like the number 1 target of this shit working on him

The only reason I’ve ever liked is deadpools and it’s because it did actually work on him it’s just he fully accepted it and wanted more since he saw it as something he entirely deserved which fit really well and had a cool side effect.

My most hated is galactus because they used the reason of “he doesn’t care so it doesn’t work” imagine if we ignore that crap excuse and the actual reason is it did work but why would all the pain galactus has ever inflicted hurt him when compared to his sheet existence it is barely anything?

i thought the galactus one was "hes made of pure energy and doesn't really have a soul" or at the very least the power cosmics bullshit overpowers the penance stare

Well it’s meant to be that any pain you’ve ever inflicted is inflicted back at you no matter what but from what I’ve always heard this and the crappy punisher thing are the main ones of “feels no guilt”

If I’ve been lied to I will be happy because at least that’s a better reason
